About To Give Up, Wilting Leaves

6 great weeks into flowering and now this.
(photos attached) My first grow btw
Ph is checked daily, good air circulation & nutes.

About my grow sys; 400w hps/mh(12/12), pretty much your cookie cutter diy rubbermaid/aero set up. Plant is sitting in clay pellets, im using advanced nutes bloom A & B, botanicare sweet, silica blast, liquid karma, blast off, and via bloom at 1/2 rec amount, 1600 ppm. I keep the ph between 5.4 and 5.8

Air temps stay around 75 and below in the dark cycle. With the lights on, around the high 70s.

My tap water after a day of sitting out is always usually around a ph of 6.7 and 70-80 ppm.
I used to run 8 gallons in my res, i switched to a smaller size this week, down to 4 at the moment.

3rd photo is how she looked about a week ago. Lately all the fan leaves have been turning yellow, i assumed it was normal for a plant this far into flowering. Shes been looking this way for a few days now, leaves are limp and starting to feel dry :wall: ANother thing ive been worried about is all the buds on the plant dont have hairs. *sigh*

Any advice at all would be appreciated.

That really SUCKS. They look like they used to be fantastic plants at one time.

For anyone to give you a good reason why this has happened, you need to give all the information on your grow you can.
Type of grow, is it soil, flood and drain what.
Type of medium.
Type of nuts.
PH of water, ph of run off.
amount water.
PPM of nuts when fed.
Type of lights.
TEMPS.

Is that an Hydro system you have them in? How many crops have you successfully grown?

Best of luck, but they look pretty far gone.

Actually looks like under-watering to me. Could be wrong though (especially since its a hydro grow). Its either too much or not enough water.

Im spraying the nutes like aero, but with roots over 3ft, almost half sits in the water.

I think this unfortunate person has already gotten the best answers they're gonna get. Nobody can accurately diagnose this problem by looking at those pictures. We actually need to know how much water the plant has been getting, what kind and how much food its getting and other conditions. This person just needs to do some reading up on hydroponic growing and figure out what they've done wrong themselves (with some ideas from experienced growers).

This could also be due to Nitrogen toxicity.

Already updated, but thanks anyways. And I have been researching, months before i started this grow and frantically for the past 2 days with computer problems for what could be wrong with my plant.
Either way man, i guess i made it pretty clear that i dont know what im doing with my aero grow and everyone else better solve my problems for me.

Thanks for the help.

Why are you running with your PPM so high? A veteran grower can sometimes take a plant that high in PPM because he can understand what the plant needs and does not need. But for a new grower 1,600 PPM is just suicidal. I know of strains out there that can not handle anything stronger then 800-900 PPM. More Nuts is not always better. You should keep your Nuts no higher then 1,100 for a few crops until you get a good feel for what the plants need.

Change out your RES. Clean everything and feed them nothing but PH'd water and some of your sweet for 7 days.
After you edited your first post with the information needed, I would wager those plants are over loaded with Salts and in a toxic state.

People, read his first post again. He edited in more information.

I read your post, have you flushed the palnt with water yet, just fill res with plain ph water and also pour a bunch through your medium, let it go for a week. also, do you have airstones in the bottom of your res? if not get some in there pronto. what do the roots look like? white and pearly or honey colored or brown?

I did as soon as I read Lord dangly's post.

Yessir, i have one running 24/7 in my res and due to the liquid karma, my roots stay a light brownish color.

I had no idea i was running my ppm high, ive been around 1400-1800 the past 5 weeks of flowering with no issues, but obviously something isnt right. Ill definitely try going lower if my plant makes it through this ordeal.

And done, done and done :bigjoint: She's on plain water ph'd to 5.7 as we speak.

Ill post some updates as soon as i see some changes.

I owe you guys one kiss-ass

Hey, if you are female, may I turn around? :-P
sorry bro, berry and twigs here :bigjoint:

On the upside, my plant is improving. She lost pretty much all her fan leaves, turned brown and dried out, but all the leaves surrounding the buds have lifted back up and dont feel as soggy.

Also a lot of buds still arent producing hairs, while other branches at the same height are thick full of em.:sad:
