Aaaa! I think my seedlings are dying

I'm using an AeroGarden Deluxe on the Herb setting. Of the 7 strawberry cough feminized seeds that I'm starting:

3 - sprouted strong stems, but they were upside down (roots in the air)
--- I righted these and buried their little roots in the medium.
--- Their initial leaves look wilted, but I'm leaving the seed domes on them.

3 - sprouted strong stems and some tiny leaves
--- I removed the seed domes on these guys because their stems were just shooting up and pushing the seed domes around. I hope this was okay before they sprouted really big leaves.
--- One of the initial sprouts' leaves are yellowing a tiny bit. I'm worried about it and don't know what this indicates (too much nutrient, too cold, too warm, too much light, not enough light). ** Any ideas on what's happening?

1 - is TBD. Not really sprouting up, but I can tell it's working hard in it's medium.

This has been 2 weeks since all were planted.

Any advice on anything to be done would be great. Maybe I just need to wait a 3rd week to see any results.

All of the plants' roots have curled in the medium and they're so-so long. Should I stretch the roots down into the Aerogarden's water reserve or just be patient and let the seedlings do it on their own?

are u using nutrients? If so, stop, seedlings don't like nutes right away. Whats your PH? If you are doing aero, consider going mediumless (use neoprene or some other type of collar).

At the seedling stage, Temps, humidity, and Ph are very critical.
Try to keep your temps around 76-78 degrees. Your humidity should be as close to 100% as you can get it. Your PH should be in between 5.8 and 6.8.
When watering, only water when your medium feels light.
I put a teaspoon of Olivias Cloning Solution mixed with a gallon of RO water at this stage. The TDS is right around 50-70.
Don't try to hurry things at this stage, keep everything simple until they grow their 2nd set of true leaves.

Ya, based on your guys' posts and reading others on the Aerogarden, I put the nutes in right away like the instructions said.

I dumped the water tank and replenished with bottled water (Crystal Geyser), no nutes. When I removed the pod tray, one of the plants had already shot it's roots into the water reserve.

I'll try that for a week and see how they do.

This is in a side-room in my garage and the temp is dropping outside. I put a space heater in their, pointed away from the Aerogarden. Hopefully, the space heater will raise the room temp up to 76-78 (it had been around 65 before) without blowing direct heat on the plants.

Ph was around 8. I lowered the Ph to about 6.0, put in an airstone, and turned the thing to 24-hr lighting. Three days and I'll put in an auto-adjusting water heater which will keep the water about 78.

Four weeks of growth under the Aerogarden's 2700 lumens and here we have this.

I dropped the coin for a 600W HPS & MH conversion kit with a digital ballast. I put the MH conversion bulb in there, 12 inches above my seedlings, and they just about died from the heat after 10 hrs.

I put in the HPS bulb, raised the light to about 24 inches above, and put a cyclone fan off to the right. The fan blows directly on the light fixture and is helping keep the heat down.

The temp at the plant-level, with the HPS, is staying between 79 and 85 degrees F. Is this alright? I do not want to drop the bucks for a CO2 system.

What's the recommended light cycle for them at this stage? 24hrs; 12 on, 12 off? 16 on, 8 off?

I'm starting to nute as well. I've been dropping 1 of the large Aero nute tablets each week. Should I do more? I see other folks' 1-month growth and it's monstrous compared to mine.

I've closely monitored my PH and have kept it around 6 these last 3 weeks.

I do it like this...If I wouldnt be comfortable in there, they wont be. Anything over 80 you need CO2. Can you vent that beast light?

I think I miss read the temp thing...if you can put your hand between the light and the plant and feel heat, its too close. I keep it as low as possible with no hot hand..I miss my CFL's from veg...Think I am going to go to T5's a 4ft 8 bulb light. My 600w puts off killer heat.
