A Test Of Leds

Ok I Picked Up A Ufo Led Today At Good Price From My Hdro Store Today. I"m Putting Two Plants Under It That Have Been Growing For 10 Days With Cfl's. These Are Easy Plants To Grow 1 44 And 1 K2. This Is Going To Be A Fair Test For The Leds Since These Plants Will Never See Any Other Lit Source.

If You Want To Stay Tuned I Will Start Updating On Them.

Here Is Some Info If You Would Like To;
There In A One Gallon Pot Filled With Ocean Soil,perlite,coco Cor.
Just Plan Watering Rite Now.
The Temp Is About 76 Degrees

i guess if people knew that it was basically the same thing they would never buy LEDs

what about a backup solar powered led incase my power goes out? i saw a few solar powered led garage lights, would that help keep the light cycle for a day or 2?

Do you have the specs for the lights? Specifically the nanometer rating.

Makes sense. Was a thread about UPS for lights, but that would be a killer UPS. But for emergency lighting, we thought CFLs. Keeps the cycle (just gotta figure out the timing on a dead circuit.

Its not too late to return the UFO, the pryrocon 100 is roughly the same price and actually uses cree leds, not 5mm's

stop judging until we see how the grow goes, who knows even if their not good for flowering maby they will veg the plant better, or who knows i have seen conclusive evidence either way. i am interested to see how this goes

Ufo use 5mm's Pyrocon 100's another LED unit that costs the same uses Cree X lamp leds. just saying they are the same price and the Pyro is 100000 X better.
