Another question I have here is what about pictures? I'm real curious to know what level of protection have or think they have when they post pictures of their grow operations. I'm not talking about being so stupid as to include a picture of themselves holding a bud or accidentally taking a photo of something that gives away identity or location. What I'm talking about is if they're able to trace pictures back to your computer or what?

Ok, I'm going to resurrect this thread with another question. What method of security do you all use to ensure that a picture posted on this site cannot be traced back to you?

i hate to burst everyone's bush bashing bubbles, and I'm not a huge fan, but he DID do some work to continue the legalization of medical Marijuanna. Just keep that in mind

Hey guys. This forum runs vb, and I have a lot of experience with it. The only way they can track you down is by getting your ip address. This is possible with vbulletin, however by default only admins can view members ip address. So, I think its pretty safe to say you don't have to worry, but obviosly dont post your full name, address, or any websites that you own (as they can get your ip that way)

We have to live by that rule. Don't tell anyone, be discreet about you smoking and growing and they shouldn't bother you. I personally hope that the DEA and police have better things to do than find any tiny stash. "Just put it out your mind". Don't act like you're committing any crimes and they have no reason to trace your IP address. Chill man!

i read through this whole thread pretty much, and i guess its pretty much a dead issue these days since the last post was like almost a year ago. but ive recently started a grow operation and have been documenting it on here on a thread i started, including pictures and what not, well come to find out my computer has spyware shit on it...does this mean.....really bad, im already screwed, or not too big of a deal??? i really wanted to post some more pics of some clones i just did but i got to thinkin maybe i should just stop posting stuff altogether on here, at least til i get some antispyware.... tell me what you think.
