A question about getting a card

It started about 3 weeks ago. i started getting nauseous and really bad migranes. I've also thrown up multiple times for no apparent reason. I also noticed that i have lost 5 pounds and havent changed much of anything. I dont have any illnesses (that i know of). I plan on seeing my doctor about these weird circumstances and see what he has to say about it. When i do smoke (not with medical marijuana) im not as nauseous and i dont get migranes.

so i was wondering, do you guys think that i could get a prescription for these symptoms?

Probably depends on where you live. In Ca anyone can get a card if you go to the right doctor. Sounds like you have a legitimate reason for a card.
Better see your doctor soon, you could have some serious problems.

i live in washington. the one thing that im worried about is my parents. i am 15, but that doesnt make me less applicable for a card. i dont think i have any chronic diseases, just very susceptible to these symptoms

yeah if u live in cali you can get a card anyone can.haha as silly as that is. i love it no worrys about the cops witch is so nice.
but any ways go to the doctor so that when u go to see the ganja doctor you have paper work to show u really have these things wrong with you. you have a better chance to get it. If u dont live in cali go to http://norml.org/index.cfm?Group_ID=3391 and check to see if ur state say u can have a card. the card cost about $130-$200 for what i hear.
GOOD LUCK AND HOPE U FEEL BETTER. DRINK LOTS OF WATER IT HELPS :)

i know that if u are under 18 ur parents have to take you. they will have to be your caregiver. so if they are not cool with it you will have to just deal tell your 18 as sad as that is. check this web site out and see what it say's. HAPPY FINDING'S!! :)

It sounds like you need to sit down and chat with the folks and tell them what is going on, what causes these things to happen and what helps relieve the pain and or other symptoms if any

I would be very truthful, there maybe another option you do not see again talk with your parents and or doctor

the thing is, my parents have caught me smoking before so they might just be thinking that this is another way for me to get some pot. but that is not the case. i have tried some medications to try to relieve these awfully painful migraines and other symptoms, but they just cause me to become more nauseous and vomit more.

so i just went to the doctor and they prescribed me sumatriptan for my migraines, vicodin for the pain, and ondansetron for my nausea. i didnt bring up anything about prescribing me some cannabis, probably because i was too afraid of them jumping to conclusions on thinking im just another kid wanting some pot. so far these meds havent done squat, besides making me vomit. the vicodin just made me more nauseous.

do you guys have any ideas on how i could bring up possibly prescribing me some cannabis?

Hi! this is my first msg. I was wondering if anyone could help me find a dr. in southern CO, around Pueblo, Canon City for a prescription. It seems that the office visits are at least $245. Am I contacting the wrong places? Any place for us poor people? I can't even afford the meds my dr. is giving me and I know they are narcotics and I am sick to death of using them. Besides, the pot really helps with relaxation and that always helps the chronic pain I've been living with for the last 6 years.
Thanks in advance!

Suze, you just made a common newbie mistake, hijacking a thread, I did it a couple of times myself way back when. Start your own thread, maybe in newbie central. You'll get a much better response. This is an older thread and no one will see it unless they're subscribed.
Trying to be helpful, not a jerk.
I'm in Ca, sorry I can't help with your question.
