A Question About Autoflowering

I was looking at doing a small outdoor autoflower grow, however, I'm a little confused about when exactly the harvest is.

For example, the Green House Seeds Green-O-Matic Feminized strain says that the outdoor harvest is in 55-60 days. Does that mean that I can have a complete harvest within 2 months or is that we they start to flower?

If its the latter, how long from seed until complete harvest? Thank you very much, any advice or info is appreciated. Peace.

Unless otherwise indicated, the flowering time is completely separate from the veg time, which could be a few months for some auto-flowering strains.

Some strains specifically say "from seed to harvest" times. For instance, Auto Blueberry from Lowlife Seeds finishes in approximately 10 weeks. It grows vegetatively for about 3-4 weeks, then it flowers for other 6-7 weeks, and then you can harvest.

So again, unless otherwise noted, the flowering time is separate from vegetative growth, which can vary greatly among breeders, even in auto-flowering strains.

Growing autos outside is a real crapshoot. I've never had success with doing lowryder #2 outdoors but i've seen a couple of guys who have. autos do best indoors, but of course the seed companies will tell you they do just fine outside too. the thing is they were bred to grow best indoors with at least 18 hours of light per day and you dont get that outdoors. I've only tried doing autos outdoors in my valley where they get a lot less direct sunlight. Im gonna try again this year and put a lot more focus on them to see if can get results. My advice would to put them in a place where the most direct sunlight possible, i think thats the key.
