A plant with two hubs? Possibe?

I began the lady by topping the plant for 4 main shoots; 2 of these main shoots became worthless due to poor topping or whatever went wrong. Two of the shoots growth are permenately stunted so today as I watched my plants I cutted one of the main shoots fan leafs and a little bit of its stem. I then put rooting clone on the cutted shoot and placed it firmly into the soil, where it stays now.

Has anyone tried this before - will the shoot, or hub, begin to root?

Yeah, I sort of got a split main trunks on one of my veggies. It emerges from the soil as a single trunk but splits on the first node to emerge as dual "master" tops.

I know I was worried about some of my early seedlings, since I probably managed to put them in the soil in a bad way — they grew sideways and one got all crooked in itself while trying to dig up... But all of them are happy now :-) Nature sure is cool!
