A peek inside my "lady cave"

Since I haven't been growing since moving to Washington state, I thought I would post a few pix from my personal grow. These seeds were sprouted on 12/17/2014 under T-5 and transferred to 7gal. fabric pots and grown entirely in them without being transplanted. On 2/12/2015 they were in full bloom transition and lights switched to 12/12 and the spectrum switched to bloom, LED units were added, total lights wattage: T-5 is 324, LED is 350 + 450 output.

The plants in the front are Nirvana Aurora Indica girls, 2 total, and the ones in the rear are G-13 Labs Pineapple Expresses, total of 4. The first pic is a peek inside under the T-5s, the other side couldn't balance the lights but the plants are all in a 4X6 walk-in closet. The first bud pics are the A.I. and the last 2 are P.E.. Looks like my B-day will be a fun time.20150328_092112.jpg 20150328_092120.jpg 20150328_092310.jpg 20150328_092313.jpg

Man, got lost and couldn't find my way back after posting. Sorry about the mix up with the pictures. The first two are A.I., #3 and 4 are the same but they are P.E.. The A.I. pistils are quite golden in color and the P.E. are just beginning to turn and are actually in a secondary growth surge. Under the T-5, the front is A.I. and behind is P.E.. the plants are 33-36" tall from soil level.

Looks good man
Hope you harvest every gram your hoping for
Cheers
I am almost getting paranoid about humidity and fungus growing up here with minimal equipment. I'm afraid of last minute disaster but right now I think it's the best I've done.

Thanks for your appreciation.

Well, humidity was beginning to get scary high, averaging 75% when the lights went on and 65deg. even with a fan on them all night and the door part way open. By evening humidity was down to 50% but temp was usually running 80-85deg.:wall: Ideal conditions for growing mushrooms and other fungi but not what I wanted for my plants so since they were only a week or so from when I wanted to harvest so I decided not to push my luck and chopped the plants.

The two Nirvana Aurora Indicas gave a total wet trimmed weight of 13.67oz. and the four G-13 Labs Pineapple Express gave me 35.33oz. wet rough trim weight.:bigjoint: I'm looking at probably12-14oz dry combined. The buds are very dense and extremely sticky. And, lest I forget this is a medical grow in Wa. state. After sprouting the seeds to see if they were healthy and good roots forming, I put them right into 7ga. fabric pots for their entirety. The pots were filled with Happy Frog potting soil with a light addition of Subcools Super Soil (my modified formula) and fed weekly with the Advanced Nutrients line if plant food. No problems with bugs or anything else :clap:except I could have easily used double the space. I fimed all and got nicely formed bushy plants. I cut off the lower 4-8 branches to get the upper limbs more nutrients and the lowest branches left were almost as long as the plant was tall and although bud growth along the lower limbs fairly sparse I had nice nugs on the ends. The trimmings and tiny buds will make me some nice BHO too.

I will follow up with a dry/cured weight and smoke reports. Happy almost birthday to me:fire:

OK, dry weight Aurora Indica 2.67 oz., Pineapple Express was 6.34 oz. so I came out with 9 oz of finished smoke plus whatever got consumed along the way for "quality control and research" purposes.:eyesmoke: Both varieties really should have been allowed to go another 2 weeks or so but I wasn't ready to play Russian roulette with the humidity so down they came.:wall: Any how, amazingly neither variety had any harshness and smoked really nice. Aromas are not fully developed and some additional curing could improve the taste and smell neither of which are undesirable. Since I harvested early I also expected the effect to be more toward the sativa high and so it was. A nice mind-calming experience with a side of muscle relaxation. A bit too much of the AI and you will be ready to check your eyelids for leaks. No raving munchies, paranoia or spaciness. Just a good fun time.:hump:
