Calling someone an idiot is against the rules, but lying about growing/genetics/sex determination/feminized seeds... is totally acceptable.

So go ahead and give terrible advice that may screw up some poor n00b, but don't call him an idiot, or that will be deleted.

i am not the liar, or the snake, like you are, destorying the species on purpose.

im trying to help everyone by informing them of the dangers of synthetic females. kinda of like trying to spread word about the hiv virus. unfortunately, as we know, its a futile exercise, becuase i guess nowadays, knowledge isnt power.

if all genepools were feminized, we would never have a regular strain anymore. it would be a vicious cycle of spraying plants to get pollen to breed, which would end up in cancer/death of the race.

even feminized seeds can turn male..so not all is lost...and besides mj has always been and always will be around with or without our influence ;)

bmeat will find a thread to give his "advice" then the rest of us have to go in and correct his lies, then a 20 page argument ensues with him claiming how he isn't wrong and knows everything then he will undoubtedly mention herman. Eventually he will rage "quit" RIU and claim he's going to leave. Then come back the next day and post in a different thread starting the cycle over again. It's been this way for over a month now.

How would the gene pool get feminized? The gene pool cannabis includes every plant in the world.
How is it possible to "feminize" a gene pool?

Again, feminized seeds are normal and occur in nature. It is a survival mechanism and part of the reason cannabis exists today. No mutation takes place and the dna is not altered, no matter how much you lie about it.

Feminized seeds can not be a danger to wild populations of cannabis. They are natural and take place in nature all the time. It is funny you think it is dangerous.

Gene pool feminization would take a shitload more work than anyone would -ever- really bother trying to do. You'd also have to bank on massive cross-pollenization.. after you re-built 1/2 of the plant structure-wise in a lab. It would take 10s of years, and would probably more than likely alter the way the plant worked on more than a few levels. Not many growers I know of have access to a 65 million dollar+ genetics lab + a genetics team that'd be willing to slave for years just to make seeds. In short, I agree with Trousers - you're half insane for suggesting that this is something that'd ever be accomplished, let alone in an easier fashion than I've named above.
