A Little Help and Advice... set up, bud size and time etc

Hi guys.. hope you can help and give me some advice...

I am a 1st timer, so I am not 100% sure if i am on track or have everything right.

Basically bellow are some pics of my set up and where i am currently with regards budding & size of buds.

when i first set up i have went for a 90w LED lamp (as you can see in pics) i done most of the grow stage with just the LED. A few weeks before I went to Flower stage i added the 2x 125w CFL lights, 1 was blue spec and the other was purple (the purple i have researched to be good for both grow & flower) (i also changed the blue CFL to a red when i moved to flower). I also never had the grow tent until maybe a week or 2 into flowering, what i did have was a home-made encasing which blocked everything in against a wall, and i used crumpled tin foil. I use a desk fan for air flow.

From my research i think i am going ok but as i have nothing to gauge this against thought i would ask what more experienced growers thought.

I kept the light on for 24 hours during grow stage and then moved to a 12/12 cycle when flowering which was started 24th Sept 2011, and so far has been going for 7 weeks and 4 days. The weed didn't start showing flowers till maybe 1-2 weeks into the light cycle, and i have read that you don't start counting the weeks till you see the start of the formation and the wee hairs...

Oh i am using a home made bubbleponic set up, water pump with tubing into each pot and a big airstone and used/using IONIC nutrient solution grow, flower + boost. I also about 1 - 2 weeks ago trimmed all the lower small branches so that energy wouldn't be wasted on them (doing this i read could add more time onto budding etc as plant goes into shock??)

will i get a good harvest? will my buds get bigger, much bigger i hope? is my set up cool, enough light etc?? the hairs are totally mostly white with some amber, not much though & the buds have got bigger in past week and a half..

any thoughts please thanks

Im pretty new as well but I have to say that your setup is looking good. The pics are a little fuzzy but i would say its got to be time to start the flush right?
The longer the flush the better the kush is what I read somewhere before. Do you have a microscope to check out the trichs? This is one way that is agreed upon by some.
Also you can keep a close eye on the hair color for signs of when to do what. Some pros say to begin the flush when 1/2 or less of the hairs have turned orangey red. This leaves
time for a nice long flush ensuring smooth smoke.
Do you have CO2? This helps increase bud size as well as LST techniques. Some plants explode when tied down.

yea looks pretty good so far. and yea LST increases size big time, more light all over the plant, instead of just the canopy will turn those lil popcorn sized buds lower down into bigger nuggets quickly. keep an eye on trichomes and youll be ok.

Hey thanks for responding, I haven't started flush yet, was maybe going to do that in a week or so, what would you say is the best way to do this? i have read a few different ways, either just go straight to PH water or dropping the nutrients to 1/4 strength for a wee bit then changing to PH water.... I also dont use CO2, would this make much difference? i will prob add this the next time i try. Would you say a 2 week flush? i was prob thinking 2-3 weeks before i harvest. will the buds fatten up big style during the flush or next 2-3 weeks?

Since you have the tent now, you probably won't, but just an fyi, never used crumpled foil for anything except wrapping your ham sandwich.
