Hello all, i have a question, some of the little branches off the main stem are turning purpleish/red color, can someone please tell me what causes that? and what needs to be done to correct it!...thank you in advance!
90+% of the time this is a sign of a nutrient deficiency.. and 90% of nutrient deficiencies are caused by BAD PH... (not the actual lack of nutrients but rather the plants inablilitty to absorb the nutrents from the medium)
gonna try and get pics soon...i was thinking maybe too much nutrients my friends grow is in soil, when he called me to come see them i was kinda puzzled, my last grow was in the late 80's ealr 90's lol so i am kinda a semi-newbie again, thanks for your response and thanks in advance to those who may respond. btw gk i like reading your posts and responses especially when its a heated topic or something, reminds me of my brother he always has to throw in the "i love you" and everyone would fall out laughing, anyway i'm stoned...have a great night all

Not really. The leaves look healthy but the stems are just purple as usuall. I give them some fish emultion and it helps them green up but it doesnt seem to last long. Maybe a week. I try to just ignore it cause the ones I have fflowering are making some nice buds. Not huge but nice.
