Alright I've been around here and a few other forums for a bit and have researched and learnt as much as I possibly could. I have a few successful grows but I did it with what I had and on a minimum budget. I am not doing anything fancy or expensive now but Im not sure which route to go, I still dont have much money to spend 500-600$ and I need a couple key things.

Carbon Filter
6" Inline Fan
Grow Tent

Now I'm not sure what to do here, I've been pondering for quite some and have a couple options just not sure what to do.

First Carbon Filter/Fan

I can buy a cheap fan and filter LUMA 6 Inch Fan and Filter combo package. 230$
Or A 6" Vortex and Phresh Filter. 350$

From experience, should I just spend the extra money for the proven stuff ?
Or am I just buying the name?

Now the Grow Tent/Apparatus

I could buy a cheap tent 79x79x79. 230$
Or a brand name Secret Jardin Dark Room Pro DR120 II Grow Tent 47x47. 260$ (Customs Fees may apply)

My final option for this is building, I plan on building my Veg room anyways but wanted the tent for Flowering.
Am I better off to buy the tent or should I just build a 5x5 room.

The problem with building the a room is I need it completely light proof and sealed.

Anyways any advice is welcome. What I am dealing with is a 15x15 room roughly and would like to build an easily removable Veg/Flower Perpetual setup.

What I have is 1 1000W Hortilix Super HPS. 1 1000W MH and will be purchasing a 1000W Hortilux Blue Bulb, any other reccomendation for a MH bulb?
GH 3 Part G/M/B
Hanna 3in1 PH/EC/TDS/Temp Meter
Ortega, Sensi Star, Warlock and Motavation Mother plants :D
I hope some experienced fellas come around wouldn't mind a good discussion :)
Thanks for all feedback.

Hey buddy, that fan and carbon filter look ok but you might be better off getting the vortex for exhaust and using the cheaper one you get with the filter for your inlet fan, you dont want to take chances with extraction when using that 1000w. The tent also looks fine but you may find the zips give out on the cheaper tents. I personally use a 1,2m x 1,2m x 2m Homebox grow tent cost €250 ($330) and has served me faithfully for years. I highly recommend getting a tent they are definately worth the money, once you have it you will have a growroom for life. Ive had to move several times due to work and its so handy packing my whole op into a box. I flower in the tent and Ive built a simple veg room out of black and white plastic sheeting (available at mosy hydro stores for vey liitle) The veg room doesnt have to be light proof because the flowering tent is.

Ya I'm between a 4x4 Secret Jardin Grow Tent from Greners.com and building my own. I'm sure i could do it easily only problem I can see is light around the door.
Anyone build veg/flower rooms in one room, how'd you lightproof the door to flower?

Also from some advice from another forum found plantlightinghydroponics.com Vortex and Phat 320$ Delivered.
Depending on Greners Shipping price I will most likely going this route.

I find the tents very convenient but building a flower room is cheap and easy. Have you checked out the green guy on youtube?, shows you step by step (he light proofs using velcro..simple) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kapr9A_Z8NA&feature=related

Congratulations you know it all!!!

Get some 2" PVC pipe and build a cage and tape Panda Film on the outsides to keep it light proof and throw away any tent ideas, waste of money.
a good fan and scrubber are worth every penny spent.
You get what you pay for when it comes to equipment as long as you stay with a trusted name.

learnt as much as I possibly could, in the time given.... better for you?

Also I've decided to go with a Secret Jardin DR120 II, Hydrofarm Active Air Inline 400cfm and Hydro Hut's Goblin Carbon Filter, rated at 385-435 cfm it should keep the stink away for about 6 months.
If funds allow I want to order a Silver Star Air Cooled Hood, anyone have experience with one? If I cannot order it and the temps are too high, I can get the outer room pretty cold which I'm sure will to the trick.
