strain:
Gorilla Glue Auto

Soil:
miracle grow performance organics

grow is automated with self watering system and timers.
was unable to get soil early on so ended up with performace organics.
fertilizer was fox farm dirty dozen, but will not be using this grow due to soil.
will be adding nutes for flushing and some extra for flowering.

plants are 3 weeks out from day seeds were planted.

Are they overwatered? Why do the leaves look like that?
probably nitrogen like growing for fun said.
This soil is not meant fort seedlings.
The grower likes to make his own soil but was unable to get the materials for it and ended up buying the organic soil that has lots of nutes in it.
That is why no nutes are being added just plain distilled water.
Plants will be flushed and given more water as they get bigger, Might only get a small boost to nutes during flower.

If you are just adding plain water they will grow outta it pretty soon. Male sure you dont flush organic soil as it releases more nutes and is counter productive. Make sure your letting the soil dry out also it will help reduce nutrient release.

Yes it will be exiting once it is past the burn stage, the side nodes are already looking a little sharper, well see how they look in 2 weeks.
Was unaware of release more nutes from organic flush, will just have to do more flushes then normally.

You can also get the lights closer so they metabolize the nutrients faster

We are on week 6 from seed.
The plants are doing a lot better now.
Temps have been fluctuation but in the range of 70-80f
With humidity in the 50%

Thinking about adding a humidifier to increase humidity to 75%
Also will be adding another small fan to increase fresh air exchange as there has been some back pressure.

Lights have been on for the past 5 weeks on 24/7 schedule
5th week ran into a issue and 6 week ran into a issue.
5 week 2 plants got a bit dehydrated, They bounced back this week but probably wont be defoliating them like the others that are more bushy.
6 week timer was set wrong and for 1 week plants have been getting only 3 hours of light and have stretched a bit.
Plants are still not flowering and am very surprised as there age. And am wondering if they are stressed due to the 24/7 light schedule?
Plants will be getting 17 hrs of light from now on. If no flowering following week will be decreasing light until flower.

You running 24 hours on?
People think they get more growth that way but it isnt true. Plants need rest and they actually grow during lights off. Especially the roots. Even 18 on and 6 off i find is too much for them. I run 16/8 in veg and 10.5/13.5 in flower and i find i yield the same or usually even better than in 12/12. Plus plants finish faster at only 10.5 on.

It was to have as much leaf mass and grow shorter and compact before flower when light change but it was only intended because of it being a autoflower and because i had very high nutrient rich soil.
Lights will be dropped by a few hours the following week if no flower is shown.

Is this normal for this strain, or how long for this autoflower to bloom?

I know nothing about auto flowers.
But they are still a plant and plants need a dark period of some kind to rejuvenate.

Week 9
lights were switched to 13/11 3 weeks ago. No additional fan was adding nor dehumidifier.
Temps have been in the low to mid 70's with humidity in the low to mid 80's
Plants have been given a little monster bloom and some alaskan veg that been lying around, decision was made to save the fox farm dirty d for another time.

Have noticed water coming out the other end at 7.5 ph. Will be lowering to 7.
Too many plants to manage with small space. Lots of bud sites not enough room.
Unable to lolipop or clean lower branches too well.
Hoping branches stretch more with better light penetration to lower branches.
Water system leaking water after set time on/off reservuor elevation to plants level too high , unable to raise plants or lower water reservour. Causing some flooding.

This should definitely be a testimate to new growers that they should never ever use Miracle Grow products. Thanks for once again proving that for all the newbies.
