A Good Experience For A Change...

Most that grow are doing so "underground" and therefore we seem to not get a fair shake from buying seeds, clones, nutrients and other assorted grow gear. It seems for every thread about good experiences there are 10 threads about bad experiences.

Well, I am here to give some positive karma to High Tech Garden Supply. I ordered a new Easy Cool 6 reflector and a new Sunmaster 600HPS bulb. Well, today my package arrived and I was so caught up in how impressive the Easy ool 6 relector was, I didn't even pay attention to the bulb.

After I installed my new reflector, I was putting the bulb away until I replaced my old one in about 6 weeks and I noticed a letter wrapped around the package. The letter said they were out of the Sunmaster so they "UPGRADED" me to a Eye Hortilux at no additional cost. An upgrade of almost $40.00 USD

I was so pumped I went ahead and replaced it ahead of schedule. I have no idea if the Eye Hortilux is a better bulb but I was impressed that they upgraded instead of "backordered".

Anyway, I just wanted to share a great experience with High Tech Garden Supply. I am sure there are some out there that have probably had bad experiences with them but I like good karma and in order to recieve good karma you must spread good karma.

... this can be good (and usually is)... but not always.

I have noticed that they will give you whatever they've got rather than wait for something to come back into stock. Which is nice when they are upgrading your ballast or light bulb... but not so good when they change your 6" CoolTube to a 8" CoolTube w/o so much as asking you if that would be alright.

They will, i'm sure make the exchange if you demand that they do so. Also, i've had them promptly send replacements for items damaged in transit. So, i do recommend them.

Thats interesting to know. I have had a few orders from them and they have always been fair, prompt and friendly. I just was expecting this upgrade and found it to be a very pleasant surprise. It was certainly better than some of the horror stories that you read about on here from time to time.

that's cool thy could have gave you anything but they didn,t. that's just better business. to bad many other places wen't like that. all a lot of stores just care aboutthat dollar right then and their. and i belive in good karma.
