on glenn becks show tonight he talked about obamas science czar, and how he wants to serialize the population. did anyone hear this from alex jones before???

Unemployment really about double what it is now, around 20% the 9.5% does not account for people who gave up looking for jobs, and it is assuming that the stimulus is working which, imho, it is not.

I'm about half way through Glenn Beck's new book, "Common Sense."Its an easy read and I'd recommend it to anyone here on the forum.

And another quick comment: If anyone here is reluctant to watch Beck because his program is on Fox, don't worry ... he speaks out against both parties.

immediately after reading that i got a sudden sharp pain in the back of my eyeballs . tell me you're doing satire, please?
ok i lied BBC is the most accurate. fox news tilts to the right, while all other major news stations lean far to the left. so the question becomes, fox vs. everyone who thells the truth?

why does obama have a healthcare interview with abc with prescreened questions, no opposing views and no opposing views on their advertising?

all major news stations (except fox) are the driving force that got obama elected.

but ur right i forgot about bbc

i prefer npr. take away the visual aspect and corporate sponsors.
take away the sexiness and attention grabbing.
just give me the boring facts and interviews free of ambushing, crosstalk,
yelling, insults, and chest-beating. that to me is genuine news.

*edit* yes i usually go to bbc as well online, but they tend to follow american hype junk news as well,
just not as severely.

There are many more news station other than the BBC that report more objectively and accurately than Fox. Fox is the most blatantly biased news source out there. It's company policy to demonize anything democrat.

What? After Fox was exposed in the documentary, instead of centering themselves, they accepted their new status as a right-wing propaganda machine and continued unabated since then. Their one-sided blindness allows them to rant against anything left or democrat or social or........

more to the point its been admitted by foxnews that for the 8 years bush was in office they simply parroted government reports without question, gave unconditional support to bush/cheney and called it 'journalism'. but was it just fox news?

once a media conglomerate goes from just being bias into being a chief arm of government propaganda, its all downhill. when the government can impose a 'media blackout' any degree of wrongdoing is possible. just look how iranians are being pummeled into submission by a military/theocratic coup with practically no outside witnesses.

and as far as 'leftist' cnn and msnbc goes, they bitched and moaned when it didnt really matter, but when it came time to sell the war in iraq and strip our rights away, they were ALL cheerleading without question.

imho arguing one whore media conglomerate over another is just as purely asinine as expressing support for one.

hold on. YOU were the one who brought up foxnews and called it a truthful media outlet.
not only that, but you can't just blurt out something like that and expect no response.
lets be fair. you started it :p

*edit* omg i just read the post before that. did you actually just claim the last word in that debate and then close it?

yes i did, i just forgot i had a liberal fan base. i wasnt saying that fox is 100% truth but it is more truth that the other news stations. i bet someone could start a thread about it and it would be a debate that never ends.

i understand that you want to return to topic, but you were essentially saying "i'm right, you're wrong, lets return to topic". trust me, that has never worked in the history of the internet and it never will :p
