a few questions from a newbie

Im gonna have some clones pretty soon and im putting them in rock wool inside of an ebb and flow setup. I have a few questions, I have a 400 watt hps + T12 flo i plan to use for veg and a 1000 watt hps i plan to use for flowering.

1st question, is the 400 wat hps going to be ok for veg or are they going to stretch too much? also, are there specific kind of flo bulbs that i should use?

also I will be using co2 so Im not sure if thats a factor or not....

which brings me to my next question, and I cant seem to find a clear answer. When do most people start using the co2 2nd week of veg, 3rd week of veg? And also, is it reccomended for veg and flower or just one of the two?

Another question(sorry, but you guys seem to know your shit, lol) ebb/flow for veg/flower should be ok right? obviously nutes will change but the premise of the water system will be the same.

any insight, tips, hints, suggestions are greatly appreciated.

also forgot to ask, It seems from what ive read that co2 cuts veg time from around 8 weeks to around 5 weeks, is this true?

They are going to stretch a little, use Daylight bulbs for the flo. in veg.
If you get plenty of fresh air, you wont need co2 unless it gets over 80f.
I don't use co2, so I don't know how to use it. Good luck!
