A few pics before the journal

Hi all,
I plan on doing a journal for the sin city grow I'm doing but my seedlings are only small so will start it in a week or so. For the mean time, I thought I'd throw up some pics of my current girls which are the progeny of some pollen chucking I did a while ago using a DJ short blueberry male and pollinating some shiva skunk, black widow and shark shock. These are at day 47 and starting to thicken and get resinous they all suffered a bit when I went away and got a bit of bleaching on the tips from the LED but they seem to have bounced back!

My pollen chuck beans (all fem x 1 of each):
Night cap (C99 x (blueberry x medicine man) x Triangle kush cookies
Night cap x purple dream
Night cap x mikado
Night cap x candyland

Connoiseur genetics:
Og chem x gdp x gsc (fem) x 1

Medium:
Perlite and peat plugs in 500mL party cups, hempy style

Nutes:
Flairform greendream grow and bloom
Cyco - ryzofuel, silica, potash, swell and XL

Lighting: Platinum P300 LED, 2 x 65w 4000k cfl and 2 x 45w 2700k cfl

The nightmare og isn't doing too well, unsure if it will pull through.

Update for day 28:
I've changed back to Dutch Fest Coco nutrients as the greendream was causing too many issues and the Dutch Fest I've used before successfully. The BLP's are struggling, they really don't like the nutrients or being watered, they are being watered once every 2-3 days where the others are getting watered every day. The nightmare cookies is finally growing though which is awesome! This new LED is a bit harder to dial in than the HPS and T5's I'm used too, I just hope I don't completely stuff it up.
Nutes:
Silica 1mL/L
Coco - 4mL/L
Ryzofuel - 0.5mL/L
Cal/mag - 0.5mL/L

Hey all, update for day 35 of veg, this LED is not really doing much for me so may end up putting the 400w over these to get the best out of them. I'm a bit embarrassed posting these pics as I topped most of the seedlings last week and stupidly decided to do the Cyco XL treatment. well, it went pear shaped and I nearly killed them all. They are picking back up now though so hopefully the take off now, won't be using the XL with this LED as I'm seeing too many issues if my pH swings even the slightest bit. I've got it at 5.8 now so am happy with that. The poor Plat D's seemed to suffer the worst which I'm disappointed in myself as they were looking so good before! Extremely happy the nightmare cookies is coming good though, can't wait to see how it turns out

Update for day 46 (Day 5 of flower. Things seem to be picking up a bit now there is more air movement, the box got up to 49 degrees celcius at one point (it was 38 outside) and they cooked a bit. Had to put them back to flower so they are only on 12 hours and can come on at night.
Nutrients:
Coco A - 3mL/L
Coco B - 3ml/L
Cyco potash - 1mL/L
Cal/mag 1m/L

Hey DN, cheers for dropping by sorry for the late reply, this site has been doing some weird shit lol.
I ended up putting them under my T5 and cfl setup due to the heat, going nicely though now after the hiccups!!

Looking good mate. Are you going to transplant into bigger pots at all? What medium are you growing in. If you transplant into bigger pots you will have better results, they are looking a little root bound.
But fair play for breeding your own strains mate. Well done.

P.S I like the Aussie cups the most.

Thanks mate! Yeah, the keepers will go into 1L pots once I work out females and males, which should hopefully be next week. They are in 100% perlite too.

Yeah tell me about it the heat is no good the 35+ days have been killing me as i am back to my old set up with 1200 watts i can feel the heat got a new ISO max fan pumping the hot air out and running the A/C 24/7 to try keep the tent under 30 but its hard work

Running 5 of your girls plus a blue power sim city under the 1200w but the next few weeks are going to be testing with this damn heat wave! need to change to LED's me thinks just for summer time keep up the good work my bro

Yeah this heat makes it damn hard hey good call getting the ISO fan bro, you'd definitely need that with 1200w going.
Good shit mate, glad to hear you got some blue power down too, I'm seeing nothing but good reports from Sins gear. I hope the nightcap x candylands are going well for you too mine seem to be very vigorous at the moment so that's always a good sign!!
I should've stuck with my LED too but this setup I have now works so she'll stay for now. What LED are you thinking of going with mate?

Yeah bro the fan is awesome normal $400 plus but a buddy works at a shop and they had one returned as they said it was stuffed i took it from him and found out on the inside there was something loss clipped it back together and now it's all good score for me

Yeah as you might remember i was thinking it was a male as i got one male from the blue power already but about 4 days in to flower started to show her sex i didn't take any cuttings but i have now only 1 but 1 can turn in to many later on down the track

I am also thinking of biting the bullet and getting myself a couple of the COB led lights i was going to build my own but to lazy and now that there are a few sellers on here i might get 2 do LED in summer and HPS in winter in saying that laying out 1500 on lights seems a bit much but if they yield like they say they do then it will be worth it

Ill post a pic of the girls later on your log if that's cool they are now 1 week of flower

Oh mate, that's great news about getting a girl, the blue power looks soooo dank, I'm sure you'll have her looking picture perfect
Those new cree cobs look like they do a pretty good job hey, but as you said, it's hard to justify $1500 for 2 lights, you'd want to get that cash back pretty quick!! Would cut down on the heat though.
