a cutting question and a drying question

ok so my plants are 8 weeks flowering
they are so heavy that they are falling over everywhere
the plant is sopping wet with resin, if you touch it anywhere your hand stinks.
the damn trichromes are still all milky, nothing brown.

1) do the trichromes have to be brown to harvest?

everyone seems to dry by cutting branches and hanging them.

2) can you dry by putting wet buds on a drying rack/screen or does that not work?

Trichomes do not have to be amber to harvest - it all depends on what type of high you want - I harvest when I see the start of amber trichs because I like the head high. You can cerainly dry them on a screen - you don't have to hang them.

Dave, You can harvest whenever you like mate it's totally up to yourself... Keep in mind that the last 2-3 weeks of the flower cycle are crucial to the outcome of weed yeild and smoking high.... I like to give max time for flowering allowing 2 weeks flushing time right at the end.

Hope this helps.
