I'm about to get a AC unit and it evaporates the water to the exhaust and was wondering should I vent it to the crawl space or attic don't want the moisture hurting anything so.what would be better I was thinking go up other wise the moisture will build up under the house and mold does that sound right thanks for your input

Of course, venting indoors will cause mold, an ac must be vented outside, not to mention winter time and you'll possibly have ice buildup.

I vent my ac to the attic but it has a hose hook up to drain the water, I'm also in AZ. I would not do it with your ac unless you lived in a dry environment that could handle the moisture You don't want to have mold and other problems.

What if I vent it to the attic and have a fan up there I can't find a a/c unit the has the hose looks like they all have the nano technology that evaporates the moisture need to figure it out soon.

I'm surprised that it vents to the attic, but then again you don't shower 24hrs a day or 18 or what ever.

Before buying and installing your AC, how are you venting you room? Do you have a activated carbon filter (Can Am or Phresh being most popular)? If you do not, save yourself some money (both now and monthly via electric) and install that. I was running a room that would peak up to 90/92 on hotter days, installed the proper size outake fan and can filter and stayed around 82 with lights on (not the ideal temp but also not too much above the ideal temp). You could vent that straight into your attic.

Your shower that vents to the attic have you been up in the attic? If your home is built to spec than there will be a 6"/8" flexible pipe venting to the ceiling and out your roof, if you do decide to install the AC and decide to vent to attic, buy a 'Y' attachment (may also need a reducer depending on size of hose you are using) and just piggy back off the existing vent system.

I have right now a 8x8x7 tent with two fan in side a air scrubber 2 600 watt air cooled hoods there are six " but my inline us a four " and have a reducer to make it six so its a little small temps right now are 79 night and 86 day already vented to attic and I'm almost positive the the bath room fan doesn't goto the roof I'll look again and I know the six " inline will be even cooler just not sure how much that's why I wanted a a/c unit and I run air in the house so maybe that would do the trick but I only can buy one or the other right now and even thought of running the AC exhaust right to a can vent so that would be outside lmk what ya think
