How long did your ultimates run? Just ordered some beans. Any tips?
My Ultimates are 78 days old. One is over 6', skinny but huge colas. Had to support her this morning. the other is over 5' and fat. lots of leaf lots of buds but not neatly as huge. She too will do well. My topped one is like a shrub, stiff fat limbs and oodles of buds. over all I am very pleased. The Eufora are good too, not any 5' ers but good. The topped one of them also shrubbed on me. They would do great in a scrog. They are in my home made air bag pots, medium is Miriacl-Gro Organics Choice potting soil and a little lime and pot ash. Wal-Mart bags and the buckets have 3' holes cut in them making them air pots. Dude the air bag air pot thing makes a big difference, very much worth the efforts. Don't buy the expensive pots and bags (unless ya wanna blow the cash), just make ya own and are fed FloraNova Bloom, Cal-Mag Plus and well water all ph'd at about 6.8 ( it ain't rocket science dude). I have fed them 3 maybe 4 times the rest of the time it's ph'd water and a little Cal-Mag.. Been away in the swamp and don't spend the time with them I usually do. A bad Quack Habit will do that to ya... Nute ratios: Bloom 1 tsp per gap, Cal Mag 1/2 tsp per gal (well water if RO 1 tsp) ph down to 6.8 +/*:weed:
Good Growing:D
Wal-Mart Air Pots the bags are $.50 ea and you can use any 5 gal bucket you like

Hey I know topping autos is frowned upon, but do you think the ultimates could handle it? I only have 6.5' to my 600w hps max.

Yes. I topped my Ultimate and Euforia after the 3rd set of leaves developed. Then I LST'd em and they are big shrubs. Never had plants with so many big stiff branches. Buds out the ass! Top em..... Worked fine for me.

ya i always ended up with big plants as long as they were topped early it just adds a few more weeks to the total time
