A banished blade named Bubs

Hey, I'm Bubs.

A little about myself:

I grew up on a family farm in Iowa, raised by a very conservative and religious family.

I was introduced to cannabis by an old friend of mine when I was about 15 and I have been in love with it ever since. I would guess that I have done more research, reading and watched more video content on cannabis and growing than I have on any other single subject.

In May of this year I left my family, friends and everyone else I knew behind to move out to the wild west. (Seattle-Tacoma area of Washington)
I moved to do some soul searching as well to get myself into a completely different environment, out of my comfort zone.

I'm loving it so far. Everything from the people to the mountains and the forest, even the larger metro areas. It's absolutely one of the most beautiful places that I've ever been in my entire life.
Also moving from a horribly illegal state to one that has legalized recreational use is so fucking awesome for a stoner like me.

I used to be on GrassCity. (Hence "banished blade") I had been there for nearly three years and had made over 10,000 posts.
Long story short, it was once a positive and uplifting community...unfortunately I witnessed first hand it's sanctioned transition into TrollCity...and so here I am. Giving another cannabis community a chance. I hope you'll all give me a chance as well.

I look forward to checking out the various threads and getting to know some of the users that rollitup has to offer.

I also hope to make a few threads of my own...which eventually will include a journal for my first ever grow. :weed:

All in due time.

Thanks for reading! See you around the boards!

Thanks!

Yeah, Im definitely fortunate as fuck to be where I'm at now. Not only because I'm living in a legal state, but because it's also easily one of the most beautiful places that I've ever been.
Mount Rainier always makes me smile when I see it off in the distance and I also love the thick, DENSE forrest around here.
