9x9 square pots watering schedule.

Hello I was looking for some information on watering my ladies. I know its really hard to get an exact schedule on when to water, but there must be some estimated scheudle.

I am running 32 ladies in 9x9 hydrofarm square pots, Ocean Forrest soil. These pots are 12" deep do it's hard to tell when they need watering. I am currently waiting to see when the leaves show me that they need water (hanging down). Is this a correct method?

if they are light they need water. if they are heavy they are still full of water. waiting for the leaves to droop isn't technically bad. it can be considered stressing the plant. but i pick up my pots to see if they need water. dry soil is super light.

Psillysimon's method is best imo. Also, as plants grow, they transpire more. It's too easy to go wrong with a schedule. Maintain a "blank pot" with dry soil as a qualitative weight reference. Unless the plants are huge, they won't much upset the feel of the pot. I went from an eleven-day watering break at the start ... to every 1 1/2 days toward the end with this method. cn
