960w COB 5x5 Tent

I'm currently between either building a 960w COB set-up (16 COBs 60w each), or running 6 QB288s at 140w each for 840w. The grow space is a little over 5x5. To date I've still only grown with HID but I have enough set aside that I think it's time to take the plunge and build an LED light. If I'm not mistaken, each of these lights should roughly cough the same as the other but which would generate more heat since I'd be running the QBs at max wattage?
I expect either light will blow my 1000w away. I hate how much cooling is required to cool the 1000w in these smaller spaces. I'm hoping the LEDs alleviate that but once again not sure how hot these would get running at these wattages.
Thank you in advance!

When it comes to cooling, watts are watts so the 960 system will be warmer than the 840. 840w of QB's over 25sqft of canopy are going to generate some serious light levels. 750w of QB's will stomp 1kw of HPS in photon output. The other thermal benefit of QB's vs HID is the almost absence of IR radiation.

You'll need less cooling since plants under LED like low to mid 80's air temp. It's because there's no IR to raise leaf temp above air temp.
1000w of LED makes the same heat as a 1000w HID, but LED will produce more light from the same wattage.

1w = 3.42 BTU.
It's the same for any device using electricity, it makes no difference whether its LED, HID, a motor or a heater.

Optimal growing conditions are different under LED. They need the higher air temp and VPD is important.
