Sup everyone. I grew two plants outdoor last summer and loved every minute of it.

Now i'm out of smoke, and its time to grow indoors.

I built a room in my garage. Its 8x4 and it will have 2 600w filling it with lumens.

construction took awhile but I finally got the lights in and the clones in, too.

SOIL FTW.

Any questions, just ask.

I'll be updating :)

So i added a door today :) Still have to add weather stripping and a sweep at the bottom to get rid of the light leaks. I will also be adding registers to the inside of both intakes in opposite directions to get rid of the light escaping those..

I also added some insulted flex, as the rigid was wayyy to hard to work with (impossible to move lights @ different heights, etc, although the airflow was AMAZING.

Exhaust... Bye Bye stinky warm air. Well, only warm air until carbon filter is attached.

AND A PIC OF A BITCH...

What should my humidity be at?

you can try spraying water in the air of the room, or put a container of water in the room and let it evaporate, or jog in place in your room to get the humidity up lol

This is a sick ass setup, once u get it all light proofed it will just look like a closet....very nice! How long do u plan on vegging for before u bud them?

maybe a humidifier would do the trick? not sure though. i keep mine at 50-55 humidity lvl even in bud, i havent had a prob with bud mold yet. hope you figure something out, everything is lookin great though!

ther is a thread on here where a guy built a mdf box around his fan to quiet it up it also gives you better ways to mount it .! just screw hooks onto the box when finished!

Anyone know how much quieter my fan will be with a carbon filter attached?

I dont think its the fans motor making noise but more so the air being sucked into the fan. I have it hanging on bungee cords so it does not vibrate or anything of that sort.

I guess i'll find out when I attach the filter. Thanks everyone

I'm gonna go put some water in my room lol

I always have the humidity under 40% in my room its in a basement and i dont want to take any chances with mold/mildew!

So a humidity of 40% shouldnt put any stress on my plants?

Why is the humidity so low? too much intake ventilation?

They may have vegged a lil slower because of the lower humidity but they are flowering well ! Humidity is low because the garage humidity is low??? What type of humidity do you get in your area of the country??

Great setup. I assume you live out west? I think its better to have to create humidity than to have to figure out how to take it away. But thats just my opinion. Good luck Subscribed.

can you fit more plants? looks like you have space. 1200 watts is more then plenty for 12 plants

I can fit a lot more plants, fitting all those plants legally is a different situation. :) I would love to put a shit load more plants in there but oh well. My plan is to veg the 12 nice and big, and put 6 under each light so they get tons of penetration during flowering.

Humidity:
43%
Thats my humidity in my city. The humidity was as low at 35% when I walked into my room. Lights just turned off and so did the fan. Humidity went up 5% within 2 minutes.

I think I might have too much intake?????? Should I tape a duct shut and see if that helps?
