What should i do? humidity outside is 89%, i can bring temps up in the dry spot but everywhere i look says " high temps + high rh = mold" but the math is right, 50F with a dew point of 47 is an rh of 89%
70F with a dew point of 47 is an rh of 43%
so should i raise temp to 70 to lower rh?
and will it be a quick dry because of the temps or will the humidity slow it down?
Thanks in advance~

thanks oscar, going to my local co op today to get one, and that was my goal nice and slow.. but too slow and mold becomes an issue lol , what is your RH when you jar up?
slow is fine as long as its cold. mold likes warm, moist and dark environments. we are going for a cold, semi-dry and dark environment. 60F is pretty cold.

it depends on the bud. RH usually rises once you jar up. if it doesn't rise, you probably let it get too dry. I dont jar it up based on the RH of the room because I keep that steady. I jar it up once the moisture has departed the stems to the point they are not quite gonna snap. that's when I jar em and throw the hygrometer in.

If I have had it in the room for ten days at 60RH the bud will be pretty close to 60RH. however, once you jar it, you pull moisture from inside out. it may go from 60 in the room to 68 in the jar.
hence the need for those Caliber IV hygrometers. I put one in every single jar and my jars hold about a pound each. when the RH rises 1% in an hour, you burp it. watch it like a hawk at first. once the RH in the jars is like 55-62% I check once a day and throw a boveda 62% pak in.

Caliber IV digital hygrometer for $15-20 each

one for the room with max and min temp and RH and one for each jar max and min. one button clear/reset.
some of the best money I spent on my grow is humidity control and data recording.
