These have been in 12/12 for ten days, still no sign of sex.. They are planted in Greenthumb Pro soil.. I am feeding them MG all purpose 15-30-15 and blackstrap mollases.. For lighting, I am using two 42 watt 2700K CFLs..

My smallest, bushier plant, definately healthiest plant, is a male.. I took it out of the grow spot.. I have now two undecided plants.. I will update with pics when I have a female..

Sorry to hear about your male, and it's been what, 14 days or so and no sign on the others? Hope you see some females soon!

Got a female today.. a few days ago I trimmed of the lower branches that werent getting much light.. I had to decide between two females, but I chose this one because it looked and smelled the best.. She is 34 days old from seed..

Just out of curiosity...who doesn't want you to add more light? It's cool, cause the 42w bulbs seem to be doing the trick, but did someone bust ya and say "If you wanna do this, you cant use so much electricity"

Plants are looking awesome by the way, this whole grow run off two 42 watters? Pretty sweet, keep up the good work!

hell yeah, you can grow a decent yeilding plant with low wattage all day. for example, this plant was grown under only 92 watts of CFL, and i pulled 16 grams off of this, so a little over a half oz.
Unknown strain (got from good bagseed)
unknown dirt (got from grandmas garden)
Miracle grow bloom booster fertz
92 watts of CFL
i began by wrapping the main stem around the rim of my pot. i only got about 45 degrees around the pot tho, then i just started tying down lower branches and let the main cola grow up to the light. so here is my baby.

wish i had a better camera, but whatever. also its only about 14 or 15 inches tall from the rim of the pot.

Looks good, I have 104 actual watts for veg, 230+ for flower, but I think I might get one 65w and just grow one plant under it. Maybe we can get a "1 bulb grow" thread going...lol. But I can't find any actual wattage higher than 42w 6500k CFL's locally(Cali), the 65w at home depot is 2700k. I don't wanna order online, any ideas? Or do I just flower under two 42 watters?

the idea of growing under one bulb sounds......tempting???lol. the only prob. i have with it, is that you wont be able to distribute the light evenly across your grow space.

Yeah, don't care, lol. I already have a veg area with 104 watts, and a flower area with 230w+, and THOSE are my side grow, seeing as I'm just waiting for spring to plant outdoors. Growing under one bulb would be the SIDE GROW to my side grow...haha, so purely just some experimental funtime shit. Besides, one bulb one plant, i'll rotate that bitch daily...lol. Or mount the plant on a motorized lazy susan...the kind they use to display jewelry and such on that rotates very slowly...lol. Yup, I think if I grow under one bulb, thats the plan. Just tie that shit down and keep it moving...haha!
