818 headband reg or fem

high all, Im just about ready to order a few seeds online and Ive picked out the ones I desire the most. Ive heard some discussions that reg seeds produce better bud but Im not sure what to believe. Should I buy fem or regular seeds? I know ill have a 50% chance of getting a female but is there any difference in quality? I also want to clone a few different strains and keep a few moms. There's a new strain called the 818 headband aka sour og that ive had my eyes on for a couple days now and I just wanted to know if anyone has tried it or started growing it yet.

I am growing 818 headband right now fem seed she is about a week old

I want just straight Sour OG kush (sour diesel X OG kush) Highly considering ordering this too because it seems to be the only strain with the same gene as that of Sour OG kush.
