800 watts to much?

Hi I have been growing in my second bathrooms stand up shower which is roughly 3ft by 3ft. I have had a few sucessful grows with a 400 watt hps for flowering and a 360 watt conversion bulb. I have recently been given another 400 watt hps and was wondering if this would be too much light for my 3/3/4 ft area?

your plants will love it and reward you with much denser nugz. not to mention more of them since your improving the number of fixed points of light. make a scrog and really improve your yeild

USE THEM if ya gottem. theres no such thing as to many lumens. Muhahahaha

I would think it would get too hot with 2 400 watts in a 3x3x4 space.You can try using cooltubes and proper ventilation.But Why not just get another closet to grow in?

ventilation is key. if you can access cool air from a crawlspace or somethin and vent lights as well as heat at top it can be done. however that is a small area and for the effort you can prob find a better place to grow. agreed. and preferable.

i could do witha 400watt hps if you know what im thinking =]].

I have had both lights running for about 3 hous and temps are about 85 degrees without very much ventilation just 1 fan going out the window. I live in a 3rd floor apartmentwith a little 4 ft alley between me and the next building and there is no access to the alley so venting to control temps shoulnt be a problem. I also have no where else to grow. The area is also a little bigger than 3/3/4 because there is no door on the front of the shower.

Well try and get the temps down between78-82 and your plants can grow comfortable.Try getting a stronger \exhaust fan.
