800 Watt AutoMazar HEMPY Bucket ScROG

QUOTE="PatchKid, post: 10734849, member: 811935"]damn I'm pretty sure i have spider mites or some kind of bugs, when I went to water it today a bunch of bugs were flying around it and I took out my microscope and checked out under the leaves and some had been eaten...

whats a good way to fix a pest problem?[/QUOTE]

The hydroponics store I go to has some stuff called sns 203 . It is supposed to kill and then prevent any new larvae from hatching. Also neem oil, but I have not had any personal experience with bugs in my Coco. Hope you get them out of there

Ok so I topped off the top few inches with new DRY coco and Im gonna put up some traps here soon whenever I can go get them.

I have a quick question by the way!

Say I take my hempy bucket that I have, and put it inside and even bigger pot that has all of the nutrient solution in it and use it as my res so I don't have to water. Would that work? any water the plant drinks would just be refilled into the bottom part of the hempy due to the pressure.

Would the water go stagnant? Would it be ok to use? It just eliminates having to water at all. I probably will not do so, I am more or less just curious

heres some pics from today. The new growth is so spindly and thin and some of the top leaves are twisting at the ends

ph goes in 5.8 and comes out runoff at 6. Idk what it is but its growing so fast right now I think it was just an older ph issue and should fix itself.

what do you guys think? Are my LEDs too close? About 13 inches from the topics right now. Im using Two 400 watt Mars II series

35 DAYS OLD

The new growth does look like it might be to close to the lights. I have read that LED lighting is brighter and in some cases have actually led to bleached buds.

I also read that about the fox tailing. That light and heat stress will cause buds to do that. Pretty sure once you raise all will be gravy ag

ok so its been about 40 days since she sprouted out of the soil, here is a crappy picture my normal phone camera is broken and I can't get high quality pics atm but she's starting her stretch!!!

also there is soon much undergrowth... big fan leaves and shit should I trim some of that up? Or just let it be since I'm working with an auto?

Hey Patch just took a look over this grow and nice recovery. She looks good and healthy. Most people who use hempy buckets use 100% perlite or a perlite/vermic mix and with the coco in the mix I believe it was holding too much water even tho the res was dry. Coco is more like hydro but its like soil too in which it holds more water than hydroton and perlite so on your next hempy grow if you do one try 100% perlite.

Also with coco there is a chance that bugs will come. I've seen numerous people talk about having bugs with coco and some swear they wont use it for that reason even tho it produces some good plants. I don't think your lights are too close but I've read that the intensity on em are strong so you might wanna raise it to about 15-20in. Other than that looks very good and you'll have some good smoke pretty soon.

I saw a couple pix of the Widow and she looked great hows she doing? Was gonna run my Widow in a hempy bucket but after I popped the seed and she had bout 2 sets of fan leaves I got a lil bit lazy nd didn't water for a couple days and she just died. I tried to save her but her roots dried to a crisp and when I continued to feed her she didn't grow anymore so shes gone:( but its no biggie I can get more of those seeds. Crazy thing about it is I popped the Blue Dream at the same time and she lived :) yay!!!! Shes a very tough gal. Had to go a few weeks without nutes and lived through that. I just hope she doesn't herm on me. Peace

hey bro good to have ya back yeah she made a good recovery I've been using the z7 combo and it's doing wonders for her she did a complete 180. I totally recommend that shit!

I chopped the widow yesterday got about 500 gs wet, so we will see how much I get dry.

and dude I totally agree with you man my next grow is def gonna be a 100 percent perlite grow. I hate the bugs I have in coco though they aren't that bad anymore

I'll go find your journal I love blue dream man one of my all time favorites

I get no love here!

I put one of the Lights as side lighting and im gonna turn it twice a day while the lights are on. do you guys think this will be effective at helping the lower part of the plant produce weight just as heavy as the top? it's a 400 watt Mars II. or would I be better off hanging it from above with the other one?

Patch you know I'm here bro. I thought I was subbed to this already but it was your last journal. That Widow looks awesome man!!! Gonna be some good smoke I've grown her and people that got it from me years ago still ask about it till this day. Was gonna grow her again had one seed left I germed and it sprouted two leaf sets and died. Part was my fault but I'll get some more eventually.

The lady u have now is looking amazing. You did an amazing job training her and will be rewarded with some nice buds ;) I see you put one of the light in the side go ahead and try it. That's the beauty of experimenting. You will never know until you try. Keep up the work bro!!!
