8 years ago tomorrow, where were you?

my girlfriend (now my wife) left my house to go to hers and get ready for work, I was laying on the couch watching sportscenter when they interrupted the show for breaking news. Man I was pissed.

I cried knowing and watching people die.

i was a senior in high school back then and nobody knew a thing till around 1120 lunch time and after that we didnt do shit at school here where im at they closed the mall and government court house as soon as word spread around

Kiddin'.. I was in the 5th grade then. Was doin' homework for literature if I remember correctly. Man... that was a looong time ago.

was in school.... was midday when i heard about it.

Tbh. i thought something was wrong with it all... new york city.. airplanes.. low ?

yeah right.. kind of sad your own country does something as bad as this..

Kind of makes you think.... your rights you have... there worthless. !!!

i was in 8th grade, it was actually like a movie when i found out, i went to the restroom and on the way back was walking past a bunch of classes and just kept hearing gossip and people talking and tv's on...when i got back to my class our principle came onto our PA system and told us that there had been a disaster in new york and that we are not to watch tv, and to stay in our classes...shit was crazy, i went home and saw the news report as soon as i walked in the door...my dad was home early from work and was watching it....they just kept showing the planes running into the towers...it kinda made me sick to my stomach that they would just show those people, our people, be blown up by a plane...how disrespectful...but yeah thats where i was....

are there any good conspiracy sites that i can have a read up on?

i dont believe in any of that shit, i think it happened the way it happened. but i do like reading about crazy coincidences

i had just opened up the shop and started a pot of coffee and switched the radio on and the bosses started strolling in and i had to run home to catch all the action on the T.V. when i went back to work the bosses said go back home we`er closing for the day

i was in high school.. sitting in, oddly enough, government history/economics.....

watching good morning america the breaking news came on will never forget that morning

Sitting in Grade 6 class when a teacher came in to explain it to me.
I remember coming home to CNN but I was young and didn't grasp it.
I remember there were celebrations and parties because of it though.

6th grade, Palm Harbor Middle. I was in in-school suspension. The principal came on the P.A. to tell every teacher to turn on the news. The rest seemed like a dream.... They fell so perfect...???

I was outside on the deck reading my paper. Wife called and said turn on the TV.... which channel?..... Any channel she said. Had a long talk with my Mom after. Then another long one with my broker.

Then the skies grew very quiet for three days. That was trippy..... I don't have lot of noise around me..... except for the background of high altitude planes.... it was different and I knew I would probably not experience that again.

I was in elementary school and watching some kind of a music/entertainment show, and then it was interrupted by these shocking news.I live in europe, and was so young at that time, but i still felt great sorrow what has happend and i was shocked.Still i remember that day, like it was yesterday-Idunno why but i do.

my first trip to amsterdam i was in the south east corner in a spiderman cafe playing chess with a mate spent the rest of the week just watching the news

I was redecking my step fathers patio when i heard from in the house a news alert come across the t.v. it was mad early and we just stopped and watched on a lil 13 inch we brought out to watch. needless to say the deck took a considerable amount of time longer to button up. The government did this and George bush is an asshole that should be arrested for crimes on his own country. It is all about the oil and the U.S gov. is the biggest business in the world. just imagine this, if they can pull the wool over our eyes on such a tragedy as this who's to say they wont go above and beyond and do it again the next time they need to start a war over oil.
