8 Weeks Flowering Chem Dawg, All Leaves Dying

Hi, so this is my first harvest (if I ever get that far). I am not very knowledgeable as

Please take a look at the pics. 2 days ago most of the leaves were alive. When the lights went on yesterday I checked on the plant and the trichomes on the top buds had turned amber overnight. I am pretty sure I had the light too close. So when I saw this my immediate reaction was to flush. So I used some Florakleen (1 tsp per gallon) for about an hour, then replaced with he usual 800 TDS fertilizer. So this morning I did a quick check before the lights went out for the day and noticed all of the leaves are dying and all the trichomes on the outside of the upper buds are turning amber, but on the inside the triches do not look done.

The top buds are now an unhealthy brown color or amber/yellow. And all of the fan leaves are dying or dead now. I know that they are supposed to do that when it is ready. Like I said about the inside of the buds, I took a closer look at the very top bud and noticed that inside everything is still green and the trichomes are either clear or cloudy (I can't tell, even with a 60x magnifying glass).

My dilemma is that I have to flush this plant before cutting it. At the moment I have no idea whether I should continue to let it grow or being the flushing process. I had plannedto let it go 10 weeks. I absolutely do not want to cut this thing too early. I love a sativa high and that is what I'm looking for, but I don't want that psychedelic gritting my teeth paranoid high that comes when you harvest too early.

Anyway, take a look at the pics and let me know what you think. I appreciate it.SAM_0727.jpgSAM_0725.jpgSAM_0728.jpg
