Planned to do 10 originally ended up with 8, 3 seeds Sensi Skunk I got seemed bad from the outset, 1 didnt pop, 1 did but went yellow from as soon as it got out the ground and did nothing, the other is looking good.

Got

5 Durban Poison
1 Sensi Skunk
2 Zombie Kusk

Growing in the cupboard with 1 150W CFL at the moment with another on the way so I can get 4 under each light

Lighting is 24/7 until they go outside

Put the seeds in shot glasses of water in the dark once they showed a little root they went in soil

Once they were in the soil I read a tip about putting them as close to the surface and sure enough boom they had leaves like day 1!

Got my PH of water 6.5 using some vinegar on tap water to ph down

Hummidity is around 50%
Temp is around 75-90F

They stretched a lot at the start so the light is now about 3-4 inches above them the ones in the main pots were buried down to their top leafs as will the ones in the solos when I repot them on Friday.

I have the 2nd CFL on the way so I can repot the 4 solo cups as the CFL when close to offers very little light range for maximum effect

I think they are 7 days now I have to try check which the actual date was

I'am going to repot them I have looked and they are in 2.5 litre pots after the solo cups ill be moving to 10 litre pots to finish veg around 2-3ft then moving outside probably into the ground.

I'm interested in super cropping, topping, LST so any comments as I go through ill appreciate. To small yet though :) I have a fan running on them since early days so they are pretty strong stemmed this also helped humidity and temp.

Careful putting them straight out in the sun after being under only CFL. The stronger light will burn them. When we bring plants outside after being under t5's, we put them in a greenhouse with a shade tarp over it and slowly adjust them to the sunlight by giving them a little more straight sun every day. Also we have ours on an 18/6 schedule so its a little less shock when they go outside. IMO if they're under 24 hrs and then go out side, they will stress out and possibly start to flower. 18/6 is easier for them to transition outside.

Thanks Humbolt

My plan is that they are only going outside to flower, they will be inside until they are 2-3 feet tall then outside for flowering.

I had some bad results with my first setup didnt ph/no fan/no bigger pots/using rockwool and its taken me into May and these wont even be 1ft by the time its Mid June probably so ill just let them grow out till maybe the end of June then put them outside.

I have a outside grow tent its green pvc I believe so thats where they are going outside which will keep them good I think.

I have after some reading been thinking about questioning the 24/7 lighting.but maybe to late now..

Have added the 2nd 150W CFL yesterday and re potted now there is enough light for all 8

Some massive growth basically doubled in size in just 2 days for the ones that were repotted first, one looks like the leafs maybe wilting slightly not sure if its natural or to much heat.

Seems we have about 80F with 49% hummidity still at plant height so thats good.

Ive been looking into topping but they are only basically 10 days from seed although the biggest looks like it could I dont think we are ready for that yet maybe get another node and a main leaf going, ill be happy when I final see a main leaf formation :)

I am really hoping to get 50g+ or 2oz a plant (just giving different sizes I know 2oz is more than 50) of dry so looking into ways I can assure this.

I will be Vegging for 60 days then they will go outside, as they are on 24 hours they should go straight into flowering as soon as they get outside it will be late June weather so the nights should be at Maximum with them getting less. Potential for a September harvest, havent done this for a while so just guessing right now.

The biggest 4 are the ones that were in the pots, the smaller 4 are the ones that were in the solo cup longer as I knew I wouldnt have enough light for them as it seems CFL have very restricted light specially when your close to the plant, they can barely do a 2ft square.

No feed yet but I do have some but waiting till 2 weeks for that.

Another 3 days (these were taken yesterday)

All are looking good and growing fast, its quite amazing the ones that were left in solos for longer 1 week and had possibly 2-3 inches further away from the light show massively size difference.

First feed for these today 525ppm tested on the feed 4ml per litre, not 100% sure on the feed its seaweed extract with something else 100% organic.

Max 90F 57%rh
Min 73F 29%rh

On average every time I look its 75-80 40%rh +/-

Notes - 1 day after the first feeding everything looks ok

I'am quickly realizing that 8 plants even for Veg arent going to get anywhere where I want them to be 2ft+ before going outdoor so I'm now looking to move 4 plants into a 1.2m sq tent with a 600W cooltube

The other 4 will just have to make do with the CFLs and small area ill put them outside when the 4 of them outgrow the small area they have

light area 1.3ft width * 2ft length (0.4m x 0.6m)

When moving to just 4 plants in the current area it will be

0.65 ft * 1 ft = per plant
0.2m * 0.3m = per plant

The 4 moving in the tent will be planned for probably straight into 5 gallon pots in the next 1-2 weeks and have a area of

0.6m sq each plant 4* what they have now and twice what the others will have. This should give me room to get them to 2.5FT+ before moving outdoor.

Wow I really didnt expect to be posting basically the same day (it's late at night for me)

I was looking to give them some more water the biggest ones were looking dry and I had been reading a lot today about replotting and transplanting as I was scared trying to move these into bigger pots.

I read about looking to see if the roots are popping out the holes and oh yes they were on my biggest ones, OMG

So I had to get started right away on transplanting them, ive moved them to 10litre pots now just short of 2 gallon from the 2.3 litre pots they were peaking out of

I don't think they will hold them for long maybe 7-10 days

Next up probably 5 or 7 gallon for their finishing pots

I cant believe in 14 days they have gone from a seed in a solo to a 2.2 litre to a 10 litre and the roots when I pulled em out was truly amazing!

Had to do another 5 gallon bucket of water this time it was ph 6.4 with 575ppm instead of 525ppm this was my fault as I lowered the ph to much and had to pour out to get the water right.

It looks like 10ml of vinegar will ph to 6.5 my water (note to anyone this may not be the same for your water if its higher or lower ph when starting)

My small ones im feeling sad for because they maybe forced to go outside as I simply dont have enough light for 8 plants in 10litre pots. Unless I change the outside ones with the inside ones say every 6 hours itll slow them down slightly but may have to do until I can get the tent and 600w mh which again is going to only hold 4 that means 4 will stay under the 2 cfls until they reach about 1.5ft because at that height they wont fit anymore as the plants will creep outside the pot and there is literally no room in the cuboard. The main 4 will go in the grow tent and try to go for 3 FT so they can be 4oz+ each.

Anyone is free to comment, im going have to top these babies real soon they are 10cm tall now with probably 5cm under soil from where I repotted and buried them a bit so they are now about 0.5FT
