8 plant - 264 Watt - 16,000 lumen - CFL stealth cab grow in soil

I bought seeds off Attitude a month ago or so and I made the mistake of germinating a few too many. With 8 Plants, I'm really only concerned with the Northern Lights x Big Bud and AK since those were the ones I bought (the others were freebies). I might scrap 3 of them. So that's 5 plants total. And i heard its 100watts for the first and 50watts for each after that. Which would be 300watts which I'm just short of. Im in a bit of denial right now since they're still small and can cope with 8 being in the area, but I'm either gonna scrap all but 5 or set up another cfl "rack" like the one I have to get about 530ish watts.

Switched them all to bigger pots yesterday. Ran out of the smaller ones so I had to improvise with a gallon of milk and a gallon of gatorade.

I switched a Northern Lights x Big Bud to a bigger container, as well as a Pineapple Express. Those will be mothers for when I go to a straight SOG. I'm using my 150 watt hps light for the mothers because things were getting crowded. I'll probably invest in some T5's once I've got a few grows down.

I started nutrients. 1/4 strength of Botanicare (got it free). They looked a little droopy and some leaves turned yellow but I'm almost positive it was overwatering. I watered every day for a few days prior to transplanting so I'm sure it was just a water issue. They'll dry for a 3 or so days until the next watering.

Hey guys,

This is day 25 now. I didn't water them for five days because of the yellowing leaves, but today I gave them about a 2/3 strength Botanicare Grow watering. The two mothers got 600ml each and the others got about 200ml each.

I did some very simple LSTing on the mothers (Northern Lights x Big Bud and Pineapple Express) but left the others to grow normally. I might consider LSTing some of them too.

I'll definitely let these guys veg for another week or two. I have limited height but they're all pretty short and bushy. Probably because I've kept the lights so close to them.

Hey guys,

Just another update with some pictures from a much better camera than my laptop's camera. I LST'd all the plants. Nothing huge. Just pulled down the tops a few days ago and let some of the lower branches really fill in. I'm going to flower in a few days. Maybe at day 30 or so.

I watered them twice in three days so I'll let them dry a bit before flowering. Don't want that overwatering issue again. Speaking of which, there are still some yellow leaves on a few of them but I'm not too worried. If any of you wanna take a stab at what it might be, I'm thinking overwatering, N deficiency, or the roots could be bound. Those pots are a bit small. Otherwise, whatever. No grow is going to be perfect, and whatever it is, it's not killing them.

The plants haven't seemed to grow much since the last update considering it's been 10 days. Anyways, I'm due for an update. I'm switching to flower tonight. I've moved the two mothers to a makeshift veg "area" until I get something more permanent. The cab will be the flower room. I'll take some clones in a few hours and put them under the light.

I bought a lot of new flower cfl's:
2x 68 watt cfl. Big ol' lights
2x 42 watt cfl
4x 27 watt cfl

I accidentally burned a few leaves under my 150watt hps and went a day too long without watering so they're looking kinda yellow but I'm sure they'll bounce right back. Again, no grow is perfect and they're not dying so I'm not freaking out.

The AK's have multiple bud sites that have been growing for 2 weeks or so. Didn't want to throw everyone into flower so I just put some warmer (2700K) bulbs over them and let them do their thing.

Ok, these are two girls I've been ignoring for a while. They both looked weak to begin so I threw them to the side of the cab and figured I'd give them one last chance.

Pineapple Express #2:
My Pineapple Express seed was actually twins. One seed, two tap roots, two plants. I pulled the smaller one out after they grew a set of leaves and replanted it. Here she is now


The Mystery Seed:
When i germinated, there was one extra seed while all others were accounted for. Figured I'd give her a chance, and I'm glad I did. Lots of little bud sites already although she's stretched quite a bit due to being put at the far side of the cab. Here she is now



I'm going to take some clones and edit this post with more pictures. Hopefully some real buds start forming in a few weeks but I'll be patient.

Havent updated in a while. The girls shot up about a week and a half into flowering. Something like 6 inches in a few days for some. I've been watering with full strength Botanicare Ripe nutes every two or three days and buds have started to show in the last few days on most plants. I had some trouble with temps around 92 degrees for a while but it has been taken care of for now. Ph is around 5-6. I took clones from the two mothers (Northern Lights x Big Bud and Pineapple Express) and after three days, they look ok. They're in their humidome and have turned their leaves towards the light.The Eldorado absolutely took off. I had to tie a few plants down, but I ended up just tying all but the AK's (who were short) down anyways just to be safe for future growth. The AK's have fattened noticeably. They're developing large main colas. It's great to see and I wish I had made one of them a mother because they're so perfect and short for my cabinet. I might just take a cutting and clone it. It'll be a pain waiting for it to re-veg but whateverAnyways, pictures:

Day 68 - Day 31 Flower

Sorry about no updates. Trying to find camera charger.
Plants look about the same just fatter buds. Pictures probably this weekend.

It's been a while since the last update so here's a big one. The clones showed some roots so I planted them in small pots with soil. Three Pineapple express, two Northern Lights x Big Bud. The mothers are getting huge but are running into the lights and getting burned. I'll probably have to trim them back sometime soon. The flowering plants are doing well. The AK's are probably something like 2 weeks out at this point so I'll stop feeding them during waterings. The rest could still use a monthish. The Eldorado is being a real pain. It's super lanky and just little popcorn buds all around. Not good for a cab grow but I figured that coming in, it's a sativa.
