Well I thought I'd actually document this grow as I've noticed alot of doubts the quality of Swerves beans and end product. I've had great success with his Tahoe last year so now we'll try Larry.

Popped 8 beans all of them sprouted and were put into cups and now are in .5gallon bags(didn't have one gallons) and will be topped in about 7 days. prob will veg for 4-5 more weeks (August 26th-September 2nd) before flipping and cranking up the 1kw.

Can't veg them in the .5g's for long so I'll have to transplant again into 2 gallon bags to finish off the veg and they should be sexed by then as well. Then onto 5gallons for flowering.

I don't plan to train much other than staking and some supercropping for an even canopy.

Nutes and additives being used are as followed:

Veg
Dyna-Gro Grow
Pro-Tekt
Floralicious Plus
Cal-Mag

Bloom
Dyna-Gro Grow(only at 1ml per gallon until mid bloom)
Dyna-Gro Bloom
Pro-Tekt
Floralicious Plus(sparingly)
Mag-Pro
Cal-Mag
KoolBloom dry(during ripening)

I also Brew up some Stump Tea for my plants Once in Veg and 2x's in Flower.

Medium:
Coco Coir (Botanicare)
Perlite
Ammened with Xtreme Gardening Mykos and Azos

Lights:
400w(Veg) 600w(when the bulb comes)
1000w digital with Big Kahuna Cooled hood(Bloom)

Space for bloom is 4x4 they aren't in the 4x4 yet until I get my 600w Mh bulb later this week to continue the veg They are under 400w hps with some others that are in veg.

I prob won't be able to get only but 6 into the 4x4 now that I think about it but I have space in another room to run the other 2.

Here's a shot from Sunday. I'll usually be updating on every Sunday. Hoping to find 2 great contestants for a 2nd run for Keepers.

Subbed! Been rocking HPS for Veg n Flower for a while, I'm very pleased. My T-5's however are a disappointment side by side with my HPS. All they are good for at the moment are rooting my clones and first week veg before transfer under the 1000W Hortilux EN's.

ahh slacked off for 2 weeks. well as I said I'm fresh to the coco scene, and It seems I've hit a iffy snag on a couple of the Larry's still. Earlier I was underfeeding heavily(mag and N deficiency) but got that straightened out.

They are in 2 gallon bags and I have 3 Larry's that still look under the weather, I leached my medium 2days ago and gave a light nute solution. they perked up hours later. Now today their leaves start to curl tadly and droop a bit. I always water/feed at 5.8 pH. I know I'm not over watering or overfeeding. New growth seems fine except for the curling that I'm talking about.

My guess is that I'm treating it like soil too much with less frequent waterings and feedings at only 1-2x a week.
on Aug 13 when i topped 8 LOG topped 8-13.jpg

Now and some shots of the ones still under the weather

Especially this one started to droop after about 1day since flushing and feeding

Anyways it seems like I may have spotted 2 possible females and 2 males. in about about week or so I should know.

the one that I said started to droop very quickly is also a female and doing bit better, im guessing i need to handwater about every 2 days,3 at the max. a couple of these larry's are just flat out finicky but they are getting there. I'll throw some shots up in a couple days. So that brings me up to 3 females ans 2 males so far most likely. I wont be keeping them for breeding just waiting a couple more days for full confirmation of the 2 males.

Thanks for subbing everyone. most def 2easy, all I see is a heavy love/hate relationship with his gear, but hey the man produces dank. I have the pre98 bx2 fems which are supposed to be s1's that actually might germ soon along with some famed mix pack fem from Cali Conn. So I'll def have some keepers on my hands soon.

Yeah raider here's where I have shots of my other strains that I was telling you I was running. the last page or the one before that has them(i run on 30post per page:shock:)
Ahh yes the good ol 2008-09 days lol

oh nah not og raskal, well atleast not yet. Soon though hopefully. esp white strawberry since i wont have my strawberry blue cut(different breeder) after september. its special but def. not special enough to reveg.

Sup Matatan. glad to have you along
I believe I was constant at feeding 2x a week with 600ppm(including my waters 180) up until a couple days ago i bumped it up to about 800. they seem to be doing alot better due too it too man. No tip burn or anything just overall better health.

You've ran coco longer than me bro, how long were you supplementing Cal/Mag in flower? and did you taper off on the dosage as bloom progresses? I dont want to lock Potassium/Magnesium out by having too much Calcium in the coco. I'm trying to get this dialed in completely. as I'd love to have coco be the permanent replacement to dirt. the way the roots just grow amazes me when I transplant they are like all aligned and just uniform. in dirt: all crisscrossed looking for food lol

before in my old spot i was using 250-300ppm tap water. i used calmag+ sparingly only when they showed signs of deficiency. jilly bean i didnt have to use it all. my tahoe og on the other hand needed at least 5ml each feeding...

and now im running RO water
