8 Ft. tall sativa ?

Hello all my fellow smokers, I have a question about a first grow on sativa's , It is now in it 30th day of flower and the damn thing is 8 feet tall, is this normal? it has grown 2 feet since its been in flower! will it ever stop? i was outta room a month ago!! I am as a rule an indica grower, this is my first batch of sativa, its a NLxHaze, very very slow bud formation, i am using fox farm nutrients, mostly big bloom and tiger bloom at this point, i can tell you this will be my last sativa grow, takes way to long to flower, and WAY to tall, i am a closet grower so u see my concern, hell i have a hawiian indica thats 6 Ft. tall.....and that is not normal! why are my plants getting so tall? any ideas at all? I am a seasoned grower when it comes to indica's but this has deff. taken me by suprise!! not sure if to cut it down or what, never seen anything bud so slow, i'd move it outside if it wasnt so noticeable , hard to miss a 8 ft. pot plant, i am at a loss of what to do, will it stop growing up? its at the top of my closet and i don't know what to do????? someone pls. help me with some feedback, guess i shoulda researched a little more

wowzers! I would say top the damn thing to control its vertical height, but with her being 30+ days into flowering already, you just might stress her out too much and cause problems you didn't/don't want.

Get yourself some type of string and bend the plant over to one side (doesn't matter which way you bend her).. do it slowly and carefully because you don't want to bend her too much and cause the main stem to crack or possible break in half. Once you get the plant bent into the position you want it at.. then take the string you have and tie it around the main stem of the plant.. then tied the other end of the string.. to some type of stationary point/spot.. this will keep the plant bent in the position you put it in.. and will let you reclaim a good amount of your vertical growing space.

Remember.. gently do this!!! Take your time and do it very gently and you'll be fine and your plant will be happy as well.

Good luck!

peace.

P.S. - Just a reminder for ya... most if not all Sativa dom. strains always grow taller than Indica dom strains. Sativa plants are usually better for outdoors IMO because they need so much more room than Indica plants. However, if you'll read up on LST, I think you'll understand what I'm talking about.

Fuck i was picturing a big robust branchy plant, not that beanstalk. Not sure if u will get much weight from it but may be a nice sativa smoke. At 30 days i would say the stretch is over.

i've helped cut sativas that were 14 feet. kinda jaw dropping when you first lay eyes on a few of those ladies standing tall side by side.
