8 bulb 2' T5 Tent

So My thread got deleted along with thousand others , here's a quick "get up to date" with my grow which started Germination on 2/18/12

Light up for this one

Keep in mind this is a stealth apartment grow. Smell, Temp, and Noise are a big factor!

Grow Style:

* Currently all plants have been topped once, or twice.
* All plants will be LST'd
* After transplant I will continue to veg using more LST and SCROG

Lights:

* Hydrofarm @' 8 Bulb T5
* 6 - 6500k
* 4 - 3000k
* 2 - 2700k
* 1 - Coral Sun Actinic 420nm
* 1 - Flora Sun
* Along with plenty of CFL coverage if needed

Tent:

* Earth Woth 32" x 32" x 63"

Medium:

* Top Soil (contains Peat Moss w/ consistent texture, Perilite, and Vermiculite mix

NUTES:

* Alaska Fish Emulsion - 4 spoonfuls per gallon ( Wont give nute burn)
* Alaska Big Bloom - 2 spoonfuls per gallon
* Superthrive ( only for transplanting)
* Blackstap molasses

Pots:

* Good ole party cups
* 12 - 6" for seedlings
* 4 - 3.5 gal bathroom trashcans ( only reason is because they are taller and not wide. Height is not an issue for me, width is.
* 2 - 5 Gal Buckets

Seeds:

* 3 - Kush
* 8 - Thai Haze x Skunk #1
* 1 - Mystery Kush

Temps & Humidity:

* Tent Temps -
Lights on - 79-86
Lights off - 74-80
* My Room temp stays around 72
* Humidity stays around 34% - 42%

Ventilation:

* 1 - 4" Inline 240 cfm Fan
* 1 - Carbon Scrubber
* 1 - 120mm 56 cfm Fan
* 3 - 120mm 56 cfm Fans Blowing over canopy right under Lights
* 1 - Tower Fan hung in Tent set on High
* All 4" hosing

So all in all the seeds sprouted within 36 hours of the paper towel method and popped from soil within 24 hours after that.
The light Schedule was using 7 - 6500k Bulbs and the Coral Sun 24/24 and that was for 23 days.
I switched to all 2700k and 300k bulbs along with the Flora sun and Coral sun and going 12/12 since March 15, 2012
After sex shows I will transplant and switch back to veg for a 3 more weeks or longer until I see they are ready.
And this is where I'm at now.

Well here they are , it's been awhile sorry, they've been on 12/12 for a week now and haven't showin any sex, but they will and once they do it's off to transplant

use any specific strategies for topping?

No just normal topping, I like to top a little early tho, these Thai haze x skunk can get around 7' tall so I just kept topping and lay them till they were all growing at the same height

Coming along beautifully sir, glad I sub'd. How tall do you think you'll let them get before bloom?

Also, as soon as I reap the rewards of this first harvest, I'm going to build a T5 or T8 ballast with 6-10 bulbs, as yours has shown me what the right cfls can really do. I can hardly wait till payday to buy a couple grow bulbs for my T12s. Which are great but nowhere near to as efficient as 5's or 8's. How much did you pick yours up for?

I spent around 250$ on the ballast and 16 bulbs I know I could got a good hps but heat stealth ventilation was all an issue for an apartment grow where the summers get 110

16 bulbs you say? I think I'll start with 16-24 than. I feel your pain man. The heat is a huge concern too, i was playing with timers last night and forgot i have to manually turn my fan on if it goes off(didnt think it was on the timed circuit) so I walk in and the temp is at 34*C.... Typically its been at 27-29*, which is still high m8, i really need an exaust... come payday :/ expensive hobby.
