8 ball kush

Hi all. I'm just after a bit of info from people who have grow this strain.
My main question is, how much bigger will she get once switched to flower?
Mine is approx 50cm now. Still in veg. Thinking about flipping just not sure how big it will get in flower.

I almost bought that some years ago for a first buy having done zero research...just lucking onto the Attitude site, and reading the Top 10 lists and such. I ended up getting Dinafem Ca Hash Plant, and some Critical+ freebies.

Well according to barneys description they grow to 50-100cm
Mine are approx 80 now. Gonna flip in about 2 days. Shouldn't stretch to much.

But something bad happened. I did a flush yesterday and whilst transferring to the flower tent 1 of the main branches broke. Well 3 actually. I taped the main 1 and also tied some sting for support as well. Other 2 I spliced a straw and used it as a splint then little tape to hold it there
Stems seem very hollow so I did some reading. Most ppl are saying they become hollow due to ph being less than 6.2 for hydro or Cal deficiency.
My ph has always been around 5.8 - 6.0.
Next feed I'm gonna go with full strength nute's like I have been and add CalMag
Thinking about not even touching the ph
My last run I never ph'd the water. Just straight from tap and nute's and had no issues.
Will this be ok? When water has nute's and CalMag the ph is around 6.4.

That PH is a little high for imo, they don't uptake all of the nturients there, but if it worked before :shrug:.

IMO, PH your water and test your tap.

5.8 for hydro, 6.2 for soil. I'd go a bit lower depending on if you have drift for hydro. For instance, if in a week your PH is 6.2 from 5.8, I would lower my PH to 5.4 to let it drift up to 5.8.
Different PH's result in different nutrients being introduced to the roots. What nutrients are you using? To beef up that stem I suggest Protekt from Dyna-Gro.

I'm just using my local store brand. Almost all ppl around the area use it with excellent results.
I used the canna range last grow but when I ran out I started with this stuff. The whole grow stage was same as canna but in flower I noticed the shops own brand made me more yield and plants looked a little healthier.
I don't remember the name but the stuff I'm using for repair is some root stuff
It improves root growth and help with repairing of stressed plants.

Do you mean drift as in the ph in the run off in a week?
I've never checked the run off ph.

Are you soil or hydro?

drift = when your res loses water whether it be from evaporation or plant up take the ph will rise. so start a few point lower and it`l drift to your goal numbers.

I water my girls manually. I like going in there every day
I've always made the mixture a day or 2 before to ph 5.8. I also check before giving it to them to make sure it hasn't changed. Always been 5.8.
So I'm starting to think the hollow stems could be caused by a Cal deficiency.
I dunno what else it could be.

this is just me, if your leaves aren`t show any sort of problems then you most likely don`t have an issue. fyi calmag is a brand name.

So if I up my ph to 6.0 it will be ok
might give that a try next.

are you in hydro?

Look at the chart, if soil, between 6.3 and 6.8 .

Some plants have hollow stems from their genetics.
