So this plant keeps growing leaves and leaves its 65 days old now about 3-4 feet high but hasent shown flowering ..except there are some lil pistols coming in but go brown and fall off but they havent ever turned white and stringy looking I will add few pictures this only my 2nd grow so should i change lights willl that make it show? i dunno wut to do taking forever

Whats your light cycle now? Some plants will show sex without the flip to 12/12. But Most need the flip to really show sign of sex. If your not ready to flip the light cycle. You can use something to black out the light on 1 branch with a trash bag or something like that an you can find out sex without changing the light cycle. Hope this helps you out a bit. Well what is your light cycle? Did you switch over to 12/12? Also for flower after you change to 12/12 you change the cfls from 6500k to like 27ook which is the red spectrum and very good for flowering. If you have already done all of this how long has it been flowering would be my next question?

ohhhh ok thanks so im putting on bag on tonight to see do i just leave on or take off for day then back on earlier than lights at night? it still on 18/6 . My last plant i guess i got lucky because showed female in like 35 days are something and i dropped lights and all went smooth but this plant just keeps on growing .

turn it to 12/12 its ready to start budding but ur tricking it to remain in veg that y the pistils arent growing

you could put a bag on one branch and just make sure it gets 12 hours of darkness, but that plant is plenty big enough to simply go to 12/ 12 and flower her out if you want, that's what i'd probably do, and it about 1 to 2 weeks time you'll know your answer..
the good news is that females usually show later, so if it hasn't shown by now, hopefully it's a her and not a him, lol..

Getting males could be ok if you know what to do with them make hash or something. But turn your lights to 12/12. Your preventing them from showing their sex not all plants pre flower or auto flower. You have to give them what they would get naturally from the sun as if they were outdoors.
And you would put the bag on the branch and do 12/12 for it if you wanted to not switch to flowering and leave it on the vegetative cycle and sex one branch. It would stil take a few days to tell.

If you leave the lights on a vegetative cycle the plant will continue to keep growing and growing and not flower! Or flower correctly if you will.
