Alright been on riu for awhile this is my 1st time doing a journal. I'm running about 14 strains total/ 21 pheno hunted clones I picked up few months ago + a clone of mine a friend is holding onto. 30 seed plants. The amount of strains I have will dwindle down after this run, I'll pick what works for me the best. The clones I picked up have multiple different phenos of most strains. #= different pheno and ×=plant count. I run a sealed flower room in which I'm running 4-1000w hps and 1-630cmh with 2 ton mini split, 70 pint dehu and co2. I veg in 2 tents both with 4 inch carbon filter inline fan. One 4x4 and one 5x5. 4x4 tent has 1-4ft 8 bulb t5 and 1-4ft 4 bulb in it. 5x5 tent has 1- 4ft 8bulb and 2-4ft/ 4bulbs t5s in. 28total 54w t5s in veg. Also put together a heavy duty metal shelving unit for clone propagation, that will also be used as small plant veg space. Have one 54w t5 in there at the moment. Run a 80 site bubble cloner and 25 site aerocloner in shelf. Run soil plants that final home are 5 gal fabric pots. Run an r/o filter for my water. I mix pro•mix hp, worm castings, extra perlite and terp tea in my mix. Transplant from bubble/aerocloner straight to soil. Plan on throwing another tent upstairs in the future as another flower space. Up in the air on whether to run 630cmh or something like timber LEDs, we'll see. Just flipped lights today. Stayed tuned and peace!!!

Also seed plants are in 2 gallon plastic pots for this pheno hunt run of them, seeds are all regs from Dungeon Vault Genetics and Thug Pug Genetics. Cuts were taken last week from every seed plant, also took cuts from all clones I picked up. Those 2 are by far my favorite breeders at the moment. Also have these to run in a future journal-

your grow is looking good man. nice strain selection. DVG and thug pug are both great breeders
Ya dude you can't go wrong with them, I've grown some serious heat from both breeders. To bad Gromer from thug pug had health issues and been posting about retiring. His seeds have gotten crazy hyped and now flying off the shelves and packs are going for thousands at auction. Not his fault. Thug pug were so reasonably priced as well, I paid $80 for every pack I have gotten! Dvg is a lil more expensive but not much and is well worth the price.

You were smart to load up when you did. Im sure Gromer will be back at it when hes healed up.
Ive grown PBJ from thug pug and brandy wine and dr gonzo from DVG, all had keepers. and im currently running a few crosses from JOTI with thug pug and DVG

Ya nice I ran brandywine as well, I fucking loved that strain. One pheno I had purp'd out nice and smelled like grape big league chew gum. Here's that brandywine-

Also I'm going to be on the lookout for 1 or 2 stellar males from seed plants and keep it's clones/(cull the original male seed plants) for a possible breeding project at a later date. Really hoping to find a good male in purple jellato and thugs breath.

looks wicked good man.. the breeding project sounds pretty awesome too
Thanks man, I appreciate it. Ya would love to try my hand at breeding some ×'s(never bred before) but it will definitely have to be done at another spot. Not flowering any males anywhere near my garden, lol. Like I said- I would like to pick 2 awesome males that have the best structure, node spacing, and smell, ect. Flowering them out with like 5-10 multiple strain female plants and just do a kind of indoor open pollination in a tent and also collect some pollen for a more long term storage.

So just water and teas after going to soil?If you run the 630 cmh I would love to get your feedback on it. I ran a 315 a few years back and loved it. It just wasn’t the right light for that specific situation I needed more height. Was in a tent and plants were up on a flood table. I’d be very curious how the cmh and HPS combined did on the plants

I still use bottle nutes though my soil mix once transplanted gets me thru about 3 weeks of no nutes, I will still add mycorrhizae, teas, and sucrose/fructose to feed my bennies once and a while.
I love the 630 cmh in the middle of my flower room, it seems to mix very well with hps, plants absolutley thrive under them. My 630 is broken up into 2- 315s in a open hood. I run the 3100k in one and 4200k in other to mix it up. Plants seem to love it. If I were going to run a cmh in say a 4x4 tent by itself, I would definitely go with the dual bulb in 1 hood but probably still use the different spectrum bulbs. I really want to see how the cmh perform by themselves. I'm going to wait to see what plants I really like so I can dial it in and try and get best results from cmh.
What didn't you like about the cmh?

there wasn’t anything I didn’t like about it. At the time I was in a 3x3 and I had my plants up on a Flood tray and stand and in a very hot climate to begin with so it just was too much heat and intensity for me. I never got around to trying the phantom 315 cmh setups that could be air cooled like a regular HPS.

Just wanted to add this- Hydrofarm digital timers fucking suck! Had issues with them before. Have everything set up right, programmed lights to kick on 5pm.. off- 5am. Went thru the off/on/auto. They were went off without a hitch this morning. Just went down at 4:50 to check stuff and get ready and guess what? Lights are on. Obviously a/c isn't kicked on yet. Temps read 102° F. Great way to start 1st fucking day of flower. Seriously wtf! Plants are fine, but I have no idea how long the lights were on really..Think I might got back to analog timers.

My outdoor sees temps in the low hundreds even teens, I wouldn’t worry too much. Probably couldn’t have happened on a better day, if one had to be chosen.

Ya the plants were praying so they were fine. This happened to me one time close to harvest, my digi timer messed up and didn't turn off on its off time, the week of harvest. This happened out of no where. Lights were on for 4 hrs without a/c same setup I have now. Thermostats turned off it got so hot. Lol. I went down there because I noticed weed smell started to creep upstairs.
