Hello LEDheads, What are the common distances for lights from tops of the the plants/canopy? I'm running 60w per plant of 3500k vero 29. Thoughts? Thanks for your help.

Every grow is different. I would start at about 18" and move from there. I ran at about 12-14" at first with my CXB3070 lights, but had to raise them up to about 16-18". Everyones situation and plants are different.

What did you notice that made you move your lights up?

Thanks for the replies, guys.

u sure its not the led just makin your plants finish faster?
Yeah, because I had one light a little lower than the others (couple plants were shorter) and it was only doing it on one side. Raised the light and it fixed the problem. I do know what you are saying about finishing faster and that is what I believed at first too was the issue, but turns out it was not. Found a post deep in the depths of RIU that had the same issue and they said raising the lights fixed it. Raised them 4" and they werent browning so fast.

And I have heard of stuff finishing sooner as well, and while I believed they were going to, they didnt finish any sooner than HPS. They just had more dense buds that were much more mature all throughout the plant. Trichs were at the same point at the same time.
