Growing in my closet... approx 6ft long 2ft wide 6ft high

600 watt with cool tube and 550 cfm fan with an oscillating fan blowing above the canopy on rotate.. I have the plants about 18 inches from the bulb.

Here's a pic of my setup

Exhaust sucks the residual heat from under the cool tube then passes the air through the cool tube and outside my window

u have messed up the venting .
removing the air from under the cooltube is not correct............u want to remove the air at the top of area (this is where it has collected heat raises)

the heat below the light is from IR heat too the best way to control this to add a fan in the area that blows at leaf/bud lvl passing cooler intake air over it.....u want to mimic nature a cool breeze flowing tho the plants .......do not let the wind blow static it needs to move otherwise u can cause windburn to leaves

temps are hotter at canopy level after moving the exhaust away from sucking out from under cool tube

What is the ambient temp that you are pulling from. I'm running a 4x4x7 with a 600 and a 170 cfm fan and filter and keep my room under 80 with no problems with 68 degree intake air

I have a 600 watt cooltube stuffed in a 2 x 4 x 5.5ft tent with a 190cfm fan. With ambient temps around 58 - 62 it runs just under 85. It's a struggle with hids in small areas.
It looks like you have ducting running from both sides of your hood. Have you tried removing the tubing from the intake side.
Also, how long is your tubing before it reaches your fan?
