King you still around? Got couple questions for you on the LED's. Where you using a dual/tri/quad? What was the ratio you were using? What was the light footprint like on the 300w'r? Thanks

It's been a little while since i've updated. Things have been super busy lately and the garden hasn't been a top priority...and rollitup therefore hasn't been much of a priority either. Regardless, there's been a white powdery "dust" on the flowering girls and I finally got around to looking into it and it looks like its whats called Powder Mold. It's pretty lame and super hard to fight when it's on almost all the leaves of all the plants. There are only a few more weeks left until the girls should be done so I figure we'll kinda sit this one out and start anew once they're harvested. Clean out the system, totally clean out the grow room, and get new media to grow in and all that good stuff.

Ouch man that is shitty! Thought I had it for min but turned out I didn't Thank God! From the info I gathered it is pretty hard battle especially how far in to flowering you are.

Damn thats lame, that Powdery mildew is a crop killer. Good thing the plants are almost done.

Alrighty. Two days ago on the 14th we harvested everything. Things are moving with the place we're growing so we're gonna have to stop for now. But this Matanuska Thunderfuck is some really good dank. The powder mildew is bad on most of the leaves, but cutting all that off is easy and the buds are surprisingly powder free...just super trich'd out and hairy.
One of the Monster buds dried out and died before budding a helluva lot, so I pulled the whole plant and will probably use the butane extraction method on it and the rest of the shake to make hash.
The other Monster bud, as well as the one Morning Daze produced a bit, but the MB is pretty fluffy...
One of the Matanuska Thunderfuck's was dried out like the MB but it had some pretty nice nugs, which is what the harvested bud pics are of.
The other MTF's were very healthy minus the powder and are hanging and being trimmed bit by bit as I type. They're really sweet and potent smelling and can't recommend this strain enough. It, like you'll see, grows a single stock that will pretty much fill out completely as one whole bud. I did top a few of the plants and they ended up being two stocks pretty full of bud. If you're growing Matanuska Thunderfuck, top it. There's no reason not to. You'll at least double your yield.
The MTF high is beautiful. More sativa based but certainly some stoney indica traces in there. No couchlock, but will definitely leave you mesmerized looking at some random ass thing lost in thought.

Looks good man, sorry to hear about the mold n shit. It's been a great run, I've enjoyed the read a bunch. Hit me up if you get a new journal going down the road.
