I chopped those on day 70 just because I had to go away for ten days. Otherwise I might have gone just a few days longer. The ones I have now are on day 41.

I grow clones in a flood and drain setup. I don't veg at all; as soon as cuttings are well rooted i put them in pots with hydroton and put them into flower. Starting with 14-16 inch cuttings I get about 1 oz per plant. 600W per tray, each with 12 plants.

Like this:

Thats a killer setup man.

Thanks!

She's starting to make budsites all over the place. the most concentrated is around the main cola! Tied her down some last night, she's fucking huge!

Lol. I had to stake my plants. The other morning I came down and one was bent in half under the weight of what's up top. That's what makes Chronic so fun. Plus it takes about 30 seconds to trim.

i had her staked already, mostly through the last part of veg cause she was a bit flimsy.

probably why the breeder reccomends against topping.

Chronic does grow a massive central cola. I guess if you top you don't get that; maybe just a lot of smaller side branches. I've never tried. Cloned side branches grow out into the same thick cola, though, so it's great. I don't like growing out from seed much. It takes too long. My plants are flimsy because I left them in the cloner while I was on vacation for ten days and they grew three inches because they were so well rooted. So instead of 12 inch clones I had 16 inchers which are now near 30 inches and they have long stems with huge buds on top. Everyone should have my problems :)

haha, well i'm waiting to invest a few $$$ in a mini DWC clone chamber. I have a horrible sucess rate at cloning straight into the medium.

Maybe then i'll have your problems!

I use a turbo-cloner from botanicare, it constantly sprays your bare cuttings. They root fast and it has capacity for 25. Costs about $125. I used to clone in rockwool or perlite, but this gives me double the success rate.

Well, the chronic got about 1" away from the glass, which is only a tiny bit warm to the touch, but reguardless i decided to tie the main cola over to the side.

BUSH!
