image.jpeg Hydros Growing. Man I am back. Y'all thought I gave up on this didn't you. NOT! I was out of town for a business trip and man I missed my lady. Since I've put her in the recirculating system she has been so stable she think she don't need me, but we need each other. Before I left out of town I made sure to level her bath and her nute solution and when I came back this heffer was doing it all on her own. Ph was 5.9 ppm rock steady at 1600 ( she was thirsty) water level was about 5 gallons ( both buckets) so she was holding her own while I was gone. I haven't took any pics but I will get some up tonight. She is really beginning to show her curves as she is becoming one sexy b****. I did make my scrog screen as this is what took most of my time this evening. This is where I will need the forums help with the scrog process. I will fill you guys in on details in a later post , when I post pics of the blue widow. Just didn't want you guys to think this thread is dead , BECAUSE ITS ALIVE AND KICKING STILL. Here is a pick of the screen I've built. More pics of the weed porn coming tonight

You aren't worried about the wires cutting into her as she grows through?
No I'm not concerned as it won't be a problem because this is the same screen I've used in my other scrog grow. The screen worked good I just don't think I did the process correctly. I looked on some YouTube videos and some growers let their plant veg until it's pretty tall and then place the screen on top of that. On the last time I tried scrog I let the plant grow into the screen. So that is my dilemma. Which method should I go with.

So here's a pic of my lady under the screen. She has grown tremendously since the last photo. I've added some hydrogaurd because I've heard so many good things about. image.jpegimage.jpeg image.jpeg

Hydros growing Ziggo. The hydrogaurd is the ish. I added some on my last res change and in my opinion the roots have exploded. I haven't had any problems with my roots but I added the hydrogaurd and they have taken off. I was using great white orca in my current grow and I have not seen results like this. High nutrient temps are a BIG no no in hydro. I have not read that hydrogaurd works best in that high of temps, but I do know that res temps higher that about 75 degrees in hydro is what causes root rot. Lower temps in hydro means bigger root mass, hence this is why some people use water chillers. But I can tell you that the hydrogaurd is definitely working better than the great white. I like to use the beneficial bacteria in my grows. Some growers like the sterile route, but I have a big enough air pump that I don't see the need to add h2o.

My undercurrent system is killing it. I mean the ease of everything is a game changer. Temps are steady, ph is rock steady, and ppms are steady. The only thing I've been doing is adding water as this bish is eating. She is starting to grow into the screen so I'm spreading her out a little. I will be doing some pruning and taking some clones from the bottom within the week so stay tuned to see if the clones take. I'm going to take about six cuttings and see what survives. Well here are some current pics of this lady sitting under the screenimage.jpegimage.jpeg

Hydros growing. Well so far everything is going great. I just did a res change today, And also did some pruning of the leaves. I hope I didn't hurt the lady to bad. Well I got a lot of the leaves tucked under the screen so I'll probably let it vegetate for another two weeks or so. If anyone is chiming in let me know if I'm doing the scrog properly. Well here's a picture, oh by the way I introduced my 700w mars hydro led to get some extra lighting image.jpeg image.jpeg

Hydros growing. Just giving a small update. I took some cuttings when I do my pruning today and they are looking great for the most part. I used some Olivia's cloning gel and I must say I believe it works. They were drooping of course when I first cut them but now they are nice and perky. Fingers crossed. I took five so I hope they all grow roots. Of course these will be for my next grow in my bigger tent. Well here is a pic of the little ladies in my DIY clone boximage.jpeg

Looking good. By no means was I advocating high res temps, you are correct in all that. I was just reading bout the bacteria, lol. Just thinking that there might be a possibility of it working more efficiently if added when the res temps are climbing before it gets topped with cooler water. Just compromising between the two optimal temp ranges. If the Hydroguard is working well as is, no reason to bother with any of my extra nonsense. You could propagate the bennies in a warmer solution then bring the temperature down, slowing down the reproduction of the bennies. None of it is necessary, just stoned thoughts. I like to make extra work for myself.

Hydros growing. Well I've done a transitional flush yesterday so that means things is about to get funky. I've got my Kant stretched out thru the screen and done some cutting under the canopy do i think she is ready for flower. Here is the last pic of her in her veg state image.jpeg image.jpeg

Hydros growing. Update my lady is starting to spread more now. It's been 3 days since I flipped to 12/12 so she's giving me her final stretch. I'm still feeding her veg nutes until I see some pistols. Well here's a pic of her stretched outimage.pngimage.png

Right on. It's coming along nicely. How are the clones?
Ziggo what's happening. Glad to see you checking in. The clones are really not looking so well. They have not rooted at all. They are living but just barely. If I don't see any improvements within a week or so I'll probably scrap them and start my auto flower grow. I've recently got a 1000w ballast that I'm going to set up in my 4x4 tentimage.jpg

Well this little lady is liking her the added nutes I gave her on Monday. I'm using an 8" net pot and she just barely had one root sticking out the side. Now she has about four very long roots almost to the bottom of the bucket. Whoop whoop that's a very good sign for good things to come here is a pic of my girl

You see the growth she's put on since Monday. My oh my.

I guess you guys are probably wondering how I'm going to scrog with the bucket system. I'm going to be using the RWDWC method. I've done a similar system using 2" uniseals but I have that setup for my bigger tent which is not up at the moment. So I will be constructing this one for the 4x2 tent using 1" tubing and fittings. So be on the lookout for what's coming next. Also since the scrog screen I have now is for my 4x4 tent I will be building one for this setup also with pics of both just in case anyone is interested

Airwalker16 welcome to my grow. I got the bulkhead fittings from my local hydro shop they are actually 1" fittings. I plan on expanding my system to a 4 bucket setup with a control bucket to go in my 4x4 tent. This 2 bucket setup is for my 2x4 tent. You can find the fittings on eBay and HD and lowes should have some as well

Hydros growing. Well my lady is really taking off now. She is showing pistols and is starting to smell as well. It's time to setup odor control now. I'm done stretching her through the screen so I'm letting her grow vertical now. Her canopy is all nice and even so I hope I get some really fat colas out of her. This setup is really easy to maintain and I really think this going to be a hell of a grow. Well here's some pics of the ladyimage.jpeg

Not like those they dont. Not with the flat piece for inner bucket wall. That makes draining a breeze. Especially if you can suspend em and put on the bottom. Send me a link to where I can get online. Cause as of now, I'm using couplings and grommets. :/

I actually need 3/4" ones for what in doin. Please send links? The recirculating lines on the top of bucket need grommets for pushing "T"'s into so I can Continue to the other buckets. So no need for 1/2". Got that part covered. But man those would KICK ASS for my return lines.
