600W Aurora Indica Scrog

I raised my lights another 5" today since some of the fan leafs directly underneath are getting rather light and some of them are frying at the edges.
I'm wondering about the phenom a bit :?, but I think normal finishing times do not really apply here due to the excessive trim back during the first 3 weeks of flower.

Cheers BN, merry X-mass :)
Yeah, my babe is definitely not pleased with our electric bill, especially during 24/7 lol! My bill is about $150from the grow related stuff.

I think the burn has stopped progressing, but I do not know what I could do about the light bleaching:-? My lights are as high as they are going.
I really do not understand it, since my temps are about 77-80 directly under the light. I know there was one day when I forgot to turn the fan on during one light cycle, but the ac was still running and maintaining temps.

Being the stoner I am, it took me more than twice to take the 'run off' EC serious, lol, but I think I got it: IN DRAIN TO WASTE I NEED TO CHECK MY MEDIUM EC & PH DAILY STUPID!

I'm not sure how much damage the build up EC (3.2) did to the plant, but I'm sure frying a good amount of fan leafs in a crucial time is never good:cry:!

I vote do a good thorough flush! Get everything back to 0
That makes two of us,lol! I see your shrooms are coming along:)
Me and my babe were looking for some for new years, wish you were here, lol.

I'm learning that rockwool has to be monitored closely in order to prevent a EC climb in the medium. It's not hard, but I come from a recirculating system, and I have to get used to making sure that my EC (in the medium) is were it needs to be on a daily basis. It matters jack shit if it is perfect in the res. but out of whack in the medium.
So I have changed my watering shedule to 2 times a day, once before lights on ('run off' until EC & PH are correct in the medium) and once more before lights off ('run off' until EC & PH are correct in the medium).

I also increased the fan speed above the canopy, other then that there is not much I can do about the light bleaching :(. It's crazy though, since it barely gets warm right on the glass. I cleaned my glass like 6 days ago, maybe the increased efficiency is bleaching the tops , that would be crazy though, it tells you how dirty the glass was, lol.
Either way, I'm not too bummed out, it's a lot of firsts for me on this grow :)

Thanks for the kind words BlootShot :)
I love that avatar :bigjoint:
I tried to look at your pics, but it's not showing your album in your profile
Even though I messed up dialing my 'run to waste' in, causing the burns you see, I love this way of growing!!! It's my first time, and I think I will still get away with a kick ass harvest:weed:
Most scrogs I see around here are more used in order to support the colas rather then to keep them short and thereby ensuring equal light to all tops, I should have trained mine 2 more times and I could have reduced my canopy height by at least a foot. Next time...lol

Thanks for stopping in BS

Your plants look great, but I had a question on the SCROG part. Is it an actual SCROG? I am interested in doing one, but my understanding was that the plants were supposed to stay under the screen.

They are keept under the screen until the flower stretch is mostly done, then you let them rip.
If you check the beginning of the journal I talk about that a bit.
Good luck mate!
