Long Awaited Thread Has Begun
1st Grow after I became enlightened.

600w MH/HPS
5- 12" Standard Clay Pot
*Soil-Fox Farm Light Warrior mix Organic-*Nutes-Fox Farm Big Grow, Tiger Bloom (Low Strength)
AK47 Easy Ryder aka AK47-Lowryder #2

Here's a shot of the set up. Content as is: while they veg out. My plan is to keep as much air flow and tempurature as regulated as I can. Ducting can easily be mounted, with a **ductbooster to the hood to syphon air through the cool tube and keep the temp low near the bulb... this air would never come in contact with the environment but be ran from one end thru the hood out the other end. A 435 CFM centrifugal fan (20" Carbon filter installed at/near flower) will be mounted at the top to exhaust hot air. *2 small PC fans can be fited with homeade 2 liter CO2 generators for the plants metabolism and cold air intake... Blackplastic will surround this box air tightening, mylar panels will then be mounted inside for reflection.
(all materials purchased *not purchased-open to other options-pending advice-research **getting for FREE?)

Been running tests with temps... Came on at 6am this morning and got the growspace up to 90 in 4 hours with no fans on. With one fan it was at 86 and rising. Purchased a 4" 85 CFM PC fan (12V) running it on (9V plug solderd myself I'd guess I lost 25% CFM) using it to channel air thru the cool tube temporarily (will use it for cold air intake) and oscillating air in the growspace the temp has been steady at 84 for 4 hours... Found a nice 265 CFM inline fan for cheap 25 bucks at an HVAC place plan to use that to channel air through the cool tube and exhaust out the other side.

Initially I thought keeping a regulated tempurature might be a challenge but with 435 CFM to exhaust hot air inside, 65+ CFM bringing in cold air and 265 CFM blowing cold air on my MH/HPS through the cool tube I think it wont be too hard to keep the temps below 90 or even 85. I know that with CO2 supplemented in the area the temps can be higher. But what should be the goal of Humidity % and the temp of the drip irrigation resevoir. If the Inline fan works very well I could poetentially bring the lights closer to the canopy. 12" or so min distance, Ill probably keep them about 16-20" away after they sprout up being 24" away.

The PC fan-wired with old 9v cellphone charger- 60 CFM
The duct booster 600w cool tube fan (self wired aswell with a grounded stereo cable 120 V 60 hz cable)- 240 CFM

In the photo are the 3 fans running, 600w powered- testing for high temps:fire:
You can see the duct fan in place minus ducting...
Ducting, Carbon filter and centrifugal exhuast 435 cfm fan arrive soon...

Space is pretty much fin...

Pictures
1. Negative preasure...:hump:
2. Hygrometer visible thru PC fan
3. Pots and drips
Ducting Photos... Should I run ducting from the bulb side of the hood and out the side? I suppose that air is hot but the Centrifugal fan and Carbon filter are powerful! See photo 1!
Where is the most accurate place to put the Hygrometer?
Should I run ducting from the boot of ac or a window fan to the ducting in the hood to supply more cold air?
If I did from the window or a window fan would that supplement CO2?

Any thoughts please...

Breed came in today. Easy Ryder aka AK 47 x Low Ryder
I got the rockwol cubes to Germinate and sprout them in... should take a few days...
I've decided that my autos are going to be organic (mostly) Ive smoked organic herb before and  is how I felt about it. It tastes natural, sweet and I wouldnt have to worry much about flushing. I got loaded soil (Fox Farm Organic) should feed them well for 2-3 weeks, Ill keep tab on growth... it is at this time that the 1/4 strength Fox Farm organic Fertilizer will be introduced every other day, slowly up to 1/2 to maybe 3/4 power maximum... at flower I will feed Bat Guano, around the 10th week I will give a flushing agent and extra water. I feel pretty confident but this is my first grow. Photos soon.

Aight folks, 3 days in rockwool, no germination process. 3 have broken the surface. They are still bent downward but I expect to see 3 cute little cotelydons by this evening. Hopefully, the other 2 will follow suit. If not I will be throwing in some Williams Wonders...

Thus far, I havce not pH'd my water, I'm a bad boy. We have soft water, I aerated with a aerator rock and got the chlorine out. But I assume that my pH is below 6.8. Within the week I should have purchased: soil tester (PH MOISTURE LIGHT) fox farm big bloom nutes and poetentially some root developers.

Til next time- SUPER OUT

The first 3 sprouts popped the surface all around the same time. They are standing straight up now and aiming themselves at the light source. Ive rotated them to angle away from light. Meanwhile... the other 2 have finally cracked the surface. If I guess right theyll be standing up exactly 36 hours behind the others (I will turn on another fan source to give them some weight training)... within the next 5 days photos will be up, roots should be sighted at the bottom and at least the 3 will be transplanted to their homes... I'm hoping that the other 2 catch up or look good enough to transplant in 5 days. Soon the 600w sun will rise.:-P I will keep it 2 feet away from the seedlings. But allow them to get as close as 16 inches or so.

So I had a seed germin in a bucket o water in a dark spot. I planted it with a nice tail in a cup of soil. I wanted a comparison to the rockwool cubes. So 5 did stand up for a while. 1 just never completely stood up. 3 have weak stems and may have died they are green tho. 1 is standing and looks ok despite yellow tips of the cotelydons. I checked out the PH 4 days in... 7.5+ Could this have completely killed them. Paired with watering everyday, although the cubes dried out every day... Its been a few days and they look the same. I treated it with corrected PH flush and a low low low dose of organic nutes. I hope to see recovery. I didnt even open the box today. I just peeked in the fan to check the temp a few times. High of 81. Humidity are 30. Its been 36 hours since I watered them. I will water again 12 hours... BTW. The bagseed I had germin in the bucket... yeah its polyploidy Alternating Whorled Phyllotaxy. I am geekin. Its about 2x the size of the seeds that stared in rockwool 2 days before it. Massive 3 leaves and almost 3 sets of 3 the third just poping out. Beautiful... If the 3 dont bounce back I have decided to germ on a wet plate with a plate over it. Preventing complete submerge of the seed. But I will then start it in a party cup of soil.
