Have a lot going on and looking to see if the plant max 600hps is a good bulb. I have used it for some time but wondering if I need to try a different bulb Brand. The ultra sun is twice as much. What does everyone think on the plantmax 600s? Also can i veg on a 400 watt mh then switch to 600hps to finish with good results? I have been doing 1000hps and 600 mh and need to know if i am going to lose alot if i do this. i inmagine i can have the 600s closer than the 1000s and maybe i will still get a good result? Please help with you feed back. Thankl you.

Well it depends on your space and How high you grow plants, i.e how long you veg ,600 watt is more efficient power wise/light output/less heatHave a lot going on and looking to see if the plant max 600hps is a good bulb. 2 x 600 hps will be better than 1000hps and 600 mh in flowering in my opinion (i like phillips bulbs they degrade slower)
In saying that i doubt lighting is your issue, more gains to be had in the growth style/environment than choosing a different bulb

I Do 4week veg and 8 wekks bloom. Sorry Freak.
7 week bloom? If I had a plant that really finished in 7 weeks I think I would do short veg and cram more cycles in.
Thanks for the reply. I need to cut back at amps used as i am maxed out and over my limit. I am going to try 400 veg for 2 weeks then kick it 600 veg for 2 weeks and then 600 flower for 8 weeks.
