6 weeks veg. leaf problem. (pics)

My plants are 6 weeks into veg. A few weeks ago my plants started yellowing from the bottom and it seems to be working it way up, but very slowly. My first two leaves have died on all of them, and some of the second branch is starting. My leaf tips have also started curling down and formed dark dead spots. What I have just explained sounds like a K def. which I thought it was.

Easy fix, I just gave my two taller plants a good dose of nutes two or three days ago (Fox farms big grow, 6% K) As it appears to me, the bottom hasn't seemed to progressed in yellowing/dieing (hard to tell bec. it was so slow to begin with) but my leaf tips on the new grow is still lighter (it starts out lighter turns to yellow then dies on the tips)

Does this seem like a K deficiency? I have also read that using some epsom salt would fix the problem? Is that true? I just want the yellowing to stop and have happy plants

Any help greatly appreciated.

is it great?? i was so intrigued by it. and i'm so ready to get one.i know that there where some changes that needed to be made, like the nutrients they give you and the lighting. did you need to put extra lighting? any extra cables?? filters?? and what setting do you keep yours on?

sorry about the festival of questions.

Im no pro but to me it looks like calcium def man, ganjaguerilla.net has some really good pictures so you can compair. Next time turn off ur grow light... and just leave on ur room light and it will help the pics out.

I'm on my second grow, just had something that looked similar except the leaves turned up (different problem in GrowFaq), but I found some stuff that was high in Mg and Ca and the plants perked up within a few hours. I gave the lowest recommended dose too.

im recovering from a mg deficiency now, it didnt look much like that. my leaves dried out quickly and started in the middle of the plant then spread everywhere, again quickly.

i used epsom salt to fix them up but the leaves never recovered. i dont think a little epsom salt, or mg type nutes will hurt a healthy plant, with the right dose if it isnt suffering from mg def. though, it might be worth a try.

I AM NOT A PRO... this is my first grow. but if it is mg def. your plants will start to go bad quick if you dont do something soon

Alright, my plants are a lot worse today. Even the ones that I gave a strong batch of nutes to. Would epsom salt possibly help my problem?

Help me out here guys, this is my first grow and my plants are slowly dieing on me and I don't know why!

Hi mate, did your problems start after or before you started giving your plants nutrients? If after, it may well be nutrient burn. They look to be in decent enough soil and should not need additional nutrients at all during this stage.

cut down on the nutes. try to flush, and start to feed at 12 str. then add 1/4 every week till you get to the correct dose, it says on the bottle. if you do it rite some of the plant will grow back. if you havent potted on in to its last pot, when you do make sure you add pebbles in the bottom of the pot for better drainage, and so you can flush when needed.

Ok, I am doing a test with my plants to see if I can diagnose my problem. I did flush one, and I am going to see what happens to it. feed at 12 str? 1/2 strength? I started my nutes at half strength I believe which was at week 4, and then went to full strength after two more weeks.
