Hey, I have done two different auto grows and put them on a 20/4 light schedule which seems to be the most common. Some people will put them on a 18/6 to save electricity. Others will put them on 24/0. If the plant is a true autoflower, it should begin to flower dependent on time. For example, I grew Joint Doctor's Blue Ryders and they began flowering at around week 4 under a 20/4 light schedule. If the strain is unstable, then you might need to throw it into 12/12.

mine are 3 weeks old now no signs of flower yet but i dont mind they are not as big as i would want them to be, they are under a 400 hps lamp

intresting. i might get some auto flower when i finish with my 5 chiesel babies witch by the way their soooooo beautifull and healthy. anyways what type of strain would any 1 recomend on getting. i want something very strong in thc.

well from what i know and red is that they can grow any where thers light idealy u would want a strong light source and leave then on 24/7 they are auto flower so they will flower when ever. switching then to 12/12 wont make a difference. good luck 2 you and keep us update on the progres i really want to know what the out come is coz im considering on getting some auto flowers my self.

Switching an autoflower to 12/12 will reduce your yield substantially. If your plant doesn't show any signs of flowering after a month, then 12/12 is probably your only option. If it flowers, give it 18 hours of light or more. Simple as that.
