I just went through both if those problems at the same time also.
My PH strips weren't working and my attic was getting over 95.

Bammmm...

Moved them to the basement
And bought a good digital PH meter.

Smooth sailing since...

Good luck man!

Oh, and I used Aquashield to promote root growth after the damage they took from those problems.

Worked awesome...New white roots exploded out of the dead ones, like it was shedding skin.

Here's where I got mine:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00286QSUK/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1376107063&sr=8-1&pi=SL75

I really don't know much about the differences in strains. I do though, plan on ordering a white strain in my next order, along with one of those funky purple strains. Shit just looks weird...
I'll show you the new seeds as soon as I pop em. About a week away.
Until then,
Here's the ones on day 28 of flower.

If u dont know about how different ph levels are better at different stages so more of.certain elements can be used when needed then shoot for 5.8. That little bit does make a difference for veg plants

Now that you got your ph good, on to the next step.

Flush, completely...
Wait a day or two...
Then get some Aquashield on them roots, (3-4 ml per gallon of water)Along with 1/4 nutes.
Wait 2-3 days..
Get the nutes up to half
Wait again 2-3 days, and increase the nutes another 1/4 and so on until you reach full strength nutes. (for your particular week)

It also would not hurt to put a cap full per gallon H2O2 once a week. Just the standard 3% peroxide from the store. It gets an additional oxygen molecule to the roots, helping cure and prevent root rot and other damaged root problems.

The whole process will span about 8-12 days, and should get them back on track.
If you've corrected the heating and ph problem, this will work and prove to be the turning point in your bud production.:hump:

You have time. These are bad issues to have at the same time, so take it slow now. A little bit of patients right now will pay off in the end.
